About Mara from United States: I'm a Mariah fan since the debut. Been through her entire career with her and may not always agree with every single thing she does, But i will always come to her defense when she gets attacked for being misunderstood. I am not a blind fan and relate Mariah to a sister who I would tell in a minute if something seems wrong or something of that nature. I come to this board to discuss her with people who I feel are true fans and yes, some don't always praise her to the heavens every single moment but we all are here for the same reason and we do adore her.

Chris Cornell (75,351) by Mara from United States On a side note, it is sad we lost a pioneer in the 90's music scene in Soundgarden's/Audioslave's Chris Cornell. Aside from my love for MC, I always adored Soundgargen and Chris. If anyone here isn't familiar with him or his voice, aside from his Soundgarden, he did his own tribute to MJ when he passed with Billie Jean and Prince with Nothing Compares To U and even Whitney with I Will Always Love You. He was a talent that will be missed. He also was one of the few male singers that had a four octive vocal range. Speaking of ages, he is one that "our age group" will miss. Melt Away will always be a special MC song to me and there is nothing like those low notes and that ending of "Baby I" is pure bliss. Mariah and plastic surgery (75,211) by Mara from United States I can't believe how open Mariah has been since living in LA about seeing a plastic surgeon. I really don't think there is anything wrong with a few fixes here or there, as I'm sure in that business it is expected, but I think she really has changed and followed the (I hate to say it) fake plastic lifestyle of living in LA. God how I miss seeing pics of her on the streets of NYC. Come back Mariah please *singing in my best We Belong Together melody*. But back to the cosmetic center, we know Stella is good friends with this doctor and I think he was at M's Halloween Party. He also of course works with the Kartrashians, Stella's template for all things. Gone are the days M would be discreet on any work she may have had. I wish M would get healthy in the form of eating better and maybe some exercise. I think it would do her better than the quick fixes, so I do agree with Andrew on that. People seem to forget that people are worth what their estate and assets are valued at. In Mariah's case it's all combined but may not be what she is actually working with unless she sold some things. What worries me currently is how Stella is currently living like "she is Mariah Carey" or that she is "on Mariah's level of wealth, status, celebrity". I'm sorry but yes, she manages a incredibly wealthy, famous, legendary star. However, she is just that - a manager. And I don't care who you manage, the kind of money she is flaunting is a bit of a red flag sort of thing. Really makes you wonder how she can afford a Maybach and a G-Wagon (I suppose you can lease them) and the expensive bags she carries. I noticed the other girl that she is always with too driving what looked like a black version of what Nick drives. Funny how we know Mariah won't even drive these cars, so Stella bought them for Stella. Don't forget to call TMZ to film this front. I remember MC Hammer being swindled out of millions by family managing his money, so it does happen all the time. Unless The Russian reality star got some kind of advance or large sum in forming the business or the Christmas movie with Mariah. I just hope Mariah's eyes are open. (Saturday 13 May 2017; 03:31)

Something is really off about all of this. Tommy coming out of the woodwork to publicly comment on Mariah after NYE lets you know he is still into the music scene and how "he thinks he could make it better". After the commotion his public comments made along with Stella's response, I noticed on Twitter, accounts solely with pics of MC and TM and pushing for them to reunite. People were thinking how Tommy made people stars and how he is the mastermind behind MC. Then we hear the news months later about MC releasing an album after she stated she wouldn't and she as focusing on singles. Next comes the label launch and the party. Funny how this happens right after the label launch party that was all her signature (pink yet lavender butterfly theme) and of course the picture with LA and Mariah. LA looked tired in the pic but we haven't seen a pic of the two of them for a while. Then this. Could any of it all be connected? What control would T have if he did take over LA's spot, on M's new label? Could LA go with MC on her new label? Either way, I am concerned for what it means for M. (Friday 12 May 2017; 15:25)

Songs you wish Mariah would do (75,119) by Mara from United States Anyone have any songs they would like to hear MC put her sound into? I was listening to Lisa Fischer today who I still adore and while we know "How Can I Ease The Pain" and her famous high notes in that one, I would love Mariah to do her song "Wildflower" or something like that. I know Mariah has songs similar lyrics wise, but if Mariah covered that without hopes of it being a single and just letting loose on that song I think it would be melodic heaven. I also would love to hear her do something by Sade. I think something sexy and smooth and just a song to relax and "chill" to would be amazing. I can't imagine what it must be like it be best friends to just friends with Mariah and getting the chance to hear her do even a few lines of some of these obscure songs. Unless MC still only listens to MC and therefore doesn't have other music to sing along to, or as we have seen in some online things, when she is asked to sing she replies "not today dahhling". Re: Everything Fades Away (75,029) (75,052) by Mara from United States Stacey yes. Everything Fades Away is another strong favorite of mine and one I wish she would revisit as far as sound and mood. I also still adore Do You Think Of Me. These songs are just mood setting and I can really relate to the lyrics of these songs. I remember when DYTOF was a B-side to the Dreamlover single (really dating myself here), I think I played Do You Think Of Me more than DL at the time. I remember driving around with the windows down and that intro to "Do You Think of Me" Back then it was so wonderful, Mariah was the artist that not only put out her singles, but put out songs opposite her singles that were just, as if not better than the songs she released. TTEOT just takes me somewhere else. Everything about that song is hauntingly other worldly. Every time Mariah does something I don't agree with, I always think "this is the woman that wrote and sang TTEOT" and all is good. Lol. I love the Emotions album. Mariah's latest fashion (74,855) by Mara from United States So the latest pics of MC I saw today with the white leather jacket and black jeans, while she looks nice, I can't help but think she also embodies the "blonde version of Stella". I mean, am I the only one that sees Stella's style really taking over MC lately? The leather jacket, tight jeans, heels, the wavy hair and especially incredibly loooong nails? We all know how beautiful and nautural MC's nails always were and now they always look like talons that need to be filled. Mariah and Nick (74,646) by Mara from United States So what exactly is going on here? Now we see Daily Mail pics of them at night with the kids at Mr. Chow. Well known to be photographed. I do think this is Stella and I'm sorry Mariah's idea too. I love MC but she has a bit of a mean streak or spiteful I should say at times. We all do, I'm not innocent but this is blatantly for Bryan. The article with the pictures reminds us all how Bryan was jealous of Nick and M's relationship and now we get this. If it wasn't for this then they could have gone to a low key pizza parlor, instead we have them all dressed up. I don't know anymore. Even in the write up it states a "Mariah insider" we know who mentions how Mariah was sick of footing the bill on Tanaka. While all in Mariah's World she is the one telling him she will get him this jacket, that shirt. So it's nothing she hasn't created. I'm not defending Tanaka man but come on. It's not lie she didn't know he would need funding. Especially if he isn't out there working, but at your side 24/7. Those were never Mariah's words in the media with break ups before. She was always mum, like they never happened. Now we get kiss and tell info like some teenager. What ever happened to the famous statement "decided to go separate ways" or amicably split. Why the Jerry Springer like dirty laundry stories? Now the in your face Nick pictures made for Tanaka? Mariah is coming off just as petty as Stella. And now Nick on Wendy Williams for a whole hour? I don't see Nick getting back with Mariah especially if Stellla is living in the house. If that happens I would gladly trade smelly leather coat witchy woman for Turban Nick. Shawn (74,582) by Mara from United States So Shawn took to twitter today while at the airport and decided to answer a select few lamb questions. He did not divulge all that much info but did anyone else see any of his responses? He did mention that he hasn't seen MC since Christmas and that (hopefully) he will be seeing her next month for his birthday. He didn't seem to know for certain yet. He also mentioned when asked about Mariah's World that he liked the ones that "featured her" and especially the ones where she gave her insights into her writing process. He doubts there will be a season 2. He also stated that no one she knows is more loyal to her than him and to "bank on that" he had to do a second tweet though and clarify "That's not shade on anyone else. Family is different." I don't know though, could be that he is not falling for the whole Bulochnikov family thing any longer. Mimi L did you catch that? RibbonB? Stella's birthday (74,581) by Mara from United States So did all the lambs get out there and wish Stellablushella a happy birthday today? Anyhow, you would swear she was the major celebrity with all the homage she has gotten. Way more than Mariah on 3/27 Mariah downplayed her day this year incredibly. Stella on the other hand, had this huge display of wishes, flowers, balloons, and even a (you guessed it) a TMZ article and video of MC wheeling a $30,000 LV chest into the party from ours truly. What does this woman need with that? Whatever, but wonder who leaked that party footage to the paps? I guess Stella is the A lister now. That is one party I would have lived to have been at. What amazing friends you have, as we know not all our friends share the same dedication and love for MC but do them to do that for you shows they know how much of a lamb you are and how much you must mean to them for them to put that together. We know Mariah was seen reading a Joan Crawford book and often mentions watching Mommie Dearest not to mention how Joan was known for this glamour Hollywood diva role and we know what she went through with ageism as well as the other female actresses. I'd hate to think she knows it and tries to emulate her at all. We already know the fascination with Marilyn and Mariah. All these incredible talented actresses lived in these lonely worlds and had diamonds galore but battled their own demons behind their massive walls. Just hope MC can find the happiness she so deserves and maybe she saw that this Tanaka, billionaire's fiancé, reality star role whatever is not for her and that she really is all about the music. Come back Mariah. By the way, her recent picture looks great. She looks vibrant and yes we still have diamonds but her lady friends do look a little smaller so she may have lost a bit of weight. Maxwell was always a dream duet of mine. There was a time I remember Mariah saying she was a fan of Hole back in the 90's and when she and Brett were pretty close he had Courtney Love and Mariah at some events together. I used to think that would be a cool collaboration and bring out the rock side of MC. Steven Tyler mentioned loving to do a song with MC recently too. Jazmine Sullivan, Mike WiLL Made again, David Morales, The Dream for a song. Someone mentioned Santana and I think that would be amazing. I'd love something with a Latin flair or Hips Don't Lie or a sexy Latin beat. I'd love to see her work with someone lik Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys or Rick Nowels for a darker sound in terms of song mood. I'd like to see her look outside the box for at least one or two songs. Something unexpected or non predictable. As far as a jazzy cover, I always wanted to hear her do "Autumn Leaves". That song always makes me think of "Miss You Most" with the reference to the season and I think her voice would sound amazing and haunting on that song. "My Funny Valentine" would also fit MC. New era (74,372) by Mara from United States Speaking of new eras, I wish MC would reemerge looking sexy, yet sophisticated. No more of this 40something trying to remain relevant giving the press and social media people an easy target to focus on saying she is desperate for attention. Mariah has always been such a natural exotic beauty with mixed heritage to die for. She has amazing genes and does not need all the in your face trying to be sexy style she has rocked in 2016. I admit in 2017 she has looked a lot better. I hope she comes back out with a "yeah I'm 40something but I look amazing and I ooze sex appeal without even lifting a finger". Idolriah was a prime example. The classyriah is youthful and beyond beautiful and I don't know what it is about Mariah Carey or how, but when she does the less is more or less boobs, less diamonds, she looks 10 years younger, but she does. I also would love Mariah to come out and not be afraid to cover up or be confident and classy. I think she would be a force to recon with and it would show all the less important that she is a legend that is drop dead gorgeous all on her own that she doesn't need to try so hard that's how beautiful she knows she is. Since Tanaka and Nick and even Packer are all behind her now, move forward, dress in a way all of them are not used to. Don't look to Stellawhatshername to give you fashion guidance because her clothing is repetitive and boring. Come back with a vengeance, jazz it up, be the old Hollywood diva with the class that oozes through your veins, like fine wine you get better with time. Age is nothing to be ashamed of, if you look as good as Mariah Carey at her age, you should be proud of it. Embrace it, now is a chance to change it up a bit. New album (74,370) by Mara from United States Will made some good points and possible details about the new deal and label. I hope MC did not just add Stella whatsherface to the record label and therefore she is tied to all future releases on this new label. This is Mariah's hard work and profession here. Stella should not be added just because if that is even what is going on. I will wait to see if more details ever emerge. We do know how she attached herself with All I Want and the Magic Carpet. I'm sorry but Stella has no place with Mariah's music. Again, not sure on the details but that would make sense with what Will mentioned and the singles route by giving Epic the out if they do not agree with what Mariah wants to push as far as anything other than the album she may contractually owe Epic. Which leads me to also be a little skeptical about the announcement of the new album. I precisely remember MC saying on that Facebook live video that she wants to focus on singles and not an album any time soon so forgive me if I am a little hesitant on excitement for a new body of work. I will not set myself up to be let down and that is in no way a stab at MC. I just am craving a complete album that she is ready to put out and not a bunch of "I Don'ts and Infamouses" and I don't know if she has that for us. She said it herself so all of a sudden she will have an album later this year. I am not setting myself up just yet. Better to be happily surprised than let down. All in all, I hope MC is in a good place and wish her positivity with this "break-up". Now if only she would clean house on some others, things might feel more like an era ready for an impact. This is Mariah's and her children's ticket in years to come and if this movie actually does take off or become a classic, Stella will always get part of the royalties. Say she and Stella finally have that falling out and Mariah is finally "done" with her and puts up that wall, she will always be tied to her with her favorite time of year.
