Talk about a sweet, sweet fantasy, baby. Mariah Carey (clad only in what appears to be lingerie) shared some seriously dreamy photographs from her luxury getaway in Italy last week. Carey stayed at an 18th Century villa on Lake Como, courtesy of Airbnb. You want to experience the place for yourself? A stay at the $60-million estate will put you out $12,250 per night.
The extravagant property features an 8-bedroom villa with quite the view, complete with 11 fountains, a bell tower, a private dock, pool terrace, indoor gym, children's playground (perfect for the singer's kids!), home theater and billiard rooms. If you're wondering about the community, George Clooney's villa is 10 minutes away.
Carey, who is engaged to Australian businessman James Packer, took up residence at the estate during the European leg of her current tour. And in posts on Instagram, she showed that it wasn't all business while there. One picture showed daughter Monroe rolling pizza dough in the kitchen. Another showed momma Mariah checking out the oven. Er, no apron was needed apparently. (Kids, don't do this at home.)
No doubt about it. Carey is living out the fantasy.
