Mariah dominates radio/video charts in the Philippines
Mariah's video for "Bye bye" continues to dominate the weekly MYX International Top 20 Countdown as it spends its 5th consecutive week at #1. This makes "Bye bye" the longest Mariah video to spend time in the top spot. It's also the longest-staying video at #1 in the countdown so far this year.
In related news, Mariah's scorching hot new single "I'll be lovin' u long time" debuted at Monster Radio RX 93.1's weekly countdown at #16. The radio station is currently playing the album version. This, according to Grace of MCA Music, is because they have yet to officially release the song on local radio as they are still promoting "Bye bye".
The radio stations, on the other hand, could not wait to play the new song. "I'll be lovin' u long time" also manages to sneak in to another radio station's weekly countdown. The new song bowed at #10 in the weekly Top 30 Final Countdown in Magic 89.9. Monster RX 93.1 and Magic 89.9 are two of the biggest hip/hop, r&b and pop stations in the Philippines.
