In Mariah's defense (73,868) by Giovanni from USA Regarding Celine and Patti. Mariah tried her best at "Divas live". Clearly she was not in the best shape vocally but she still had the best voice on that stage and delivered two great performances. Celine had her moment with Aretha but Mariah's "Make it happen" was the best performance of the night in my opinion. Mariah is not the type of singer to go head to head with other singers. She has so much respect for her idols that's just who she is. Now with Patti, it doesn't matter who you are you can't out sing her. Patti is a dramatic soprano. She has the most loudest and most powerful voice type. It didn't matter if it was Chaka, Whitney, Jennifer Holiday or Celine Dion. Patti will destroy anyone. Mariah's performance with Patti was probably the most fun she's had with any singer. (Wednesday 22 March 2017; 22:40)

Mariah's over the top sexiness is such a turn off. I was all here for "Beautiful", but "I don't" is disgusting. Hands down her worst video ever. Mariah is so much better than that. Mariah no longer has the passion for music (72,638) by Giovanni from USA "Beautiful" has been her only good, strong single since "Don't forget about us". Everything after from "You're mine" to "Infiniy" to "I don't" is just one disappointment after another. Where is the Mariah Carey who wrote "Vision of love", "Make it happen", "Dreamlover", "Anytime you a friend"? Her music has lacked meaning and has no message. How many break up songs is she going to write? At this point with her music I have lost all hope for a comeback. She is just not putting out the best music. I don't song and video (72,179) by Giovanni from USA I have to say I'm disappointed. I can't decide which is worst. The song or the video. Why does Mariah feel the need to collaborate with lame rappers, act sexy and look so desperate? She's so much better than that. She certainly can make better music. This song isn't going anywhere. I still love Mariah (70,578) by Giovanni from USA But I honestly can't understand what is going on with her? She seems so disconnected with the real world. She refuses to act and dress her age and is using sexiness instead of her talent. And who can forget "Infinity"? Who is this woman? I admit I had given up on Mariah because I became so disgusted, disappointed and at times embarrassed. I just didn't care about her anymore. But I can't seem to erase her from life. She's given me so much happiness with her music that I don't want to turn my back on her so easily. That isn't what a real fan does. She has so much potential to have at least one more successful era but she has to start being more professional. Last night's performance is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. She is still relying on playback and lipping. And the sexiness has got to stop. She looks so desperate. I'm not embarrassed about her performance, I'm disappointed. This just gives her haters more ammo. She should just sing songs she can sing live. "Emotions" is no longer a song she can handle. I really hope what happened last night never happens again. Patti Labelle (68,170) by Giovanni from USA Singing with Patti Labelle is like working without a job. You can't do it. No one other than Yolanda Adams can hold her own with the greatest female singer and vocalist of all time. Mariah learned the hard way with the "Got to be real" performance in '98. You cannot out do a dramatic soprano. Patti although not as successful as Mariah still remains a legend and icon. I'm so grateful she's still here with us. (Wednesday 9 November 2016; 15:34)

The art of letting go (67,152) by Giovanni from USA Is one of Mariah's most personal songs. It needed a video and more promotion. Way more better than "Crapfinity" and "Infamess". So delusional (66,974) by Giovanni from USA How can anyone think Mariah sounds even remotely good in "Infamous"? She sounds hella hoarse and tired. Like she's had way too many splashes. She's struggling to sing a song that isn't vocally challenging what so ever. Sometimes I worry about her state of voice. At the Beacon she sounded spectacular (ala "Joy to the world") and in Vegas there were times she sounded great. But I noticed she tends to sound very hoarse and dry. If she's not getting rest, still drinking or not working out her voice, how does she expect to make a comeback or give a live television performance? (Monday 3 October 2016; 13:42)

Miley Cyrus (66,927) by Giovanni from USA Is a total loser who can't sing. I don't why these basic females think they can come for Mariah when they're not on her level as a singer or success wise. You just don't shade a legend. Miley is just mad that her fame is over. I think being on "The voice" will give her some relevance but it's not like she's going to have a hit record or win a Grammy. Mariah is a diva so what, so is Aretha, Diana and Patti. She's paid her dues and proven herself as music royalty. Last time I checked Miley doesn't have a "Make it happen", "Anytime you need a friend", "One sweet day" or "Fly like a bird" in her catalog. Her music is garbage. I think I respect Ariana Grande a lot more now because she has never shaded Mariah. At least for now. (Saturday 1 October 2016; 19:52)

And to think some of her fans believe she deserves the Grammy for album of the year is hilarious. We all know Adele is going to win and is deserving of that Grammy. Give me a break (66,341) by Giovanni from USA A double standard my a**. Mariah has always been sexy without coming off as desperate or trying too hard. Which is what she has been giving us this past year. Mariah can be sexy, just not over the top. This is a woman who is approaching 50. She's never had to rely on sexiness or sell sex because unlike Britney and Jennifer Lopez Mariah has talent. But her recent pictures have been a hot mess. They're not a good look for her at all.
