One more thing (54,883) by Nathan from USA In my opinion, Mariah and Packer have a lot more chemistry than she did with Nick. I think they look very natural, especially the kiss. I don't know if you guys remember, but whenever Mariah and Nick would kiss, it was always awkward and he would make weird faces. I remember Selita saying he was a bad kisser lol. Maybe it's also the age is appropriate and the fact that he's obviously not interested in her money. In my eyes, they remind me of the same chemistry Mariah had with Luis. Yeah, he's not the most handsome man, but he's charming, tall, educated and obviously a cool dude (did I say billionaire? lol). I am loving the pairing. (Thursday 25 June 2015; 5:59)

Baby - Sweden, general rant (54,882) by Nathan from USA I completely agree. The negative comments about a cute almost kissing photo is ridiculous. Are we in high school? He met her in December 2013. He's been "pursuing her" for months AKA going to her Vegas show to support her and spend time with her. As sources said, it was a slow process months in the making through Brett. Now I'm assuming Mariah now feels it's time and at the level to go "public with her new boyfriend" and everyone just assumes this happened overnight. This isn't Kim Kardashian. Personally, I believe Mariah is genuine with love and I don't think we would pull a PR stunt like this. This isn't Madonna. Remember people thought the same about Nick. I happen to think her pairing with Packer is awesome. He looks so genuinely in love with her and she's honestly glowing and looks so happy. Now she isn't with some immature unknown punk, and is with a classy billionaire. As for the black/red dress. Guys, the red dress is from Mariah's twitter, these (black dress at Cannes) as well as the wetsuit are paparazzi photos. It's obvious her waist is photoshopped in the red dress. I really hope she gets back into shape again and proves it to herself after her injury. I want her to be slaying it like in Summer 2013. (Thursday 25 June 2015; 5:41)

Something worth noting (54,804) by Nathan from USA Mimi's got a new boyfriend (Loverboy intro). I think it's worth nothing that Nick fell for Mariah in 2008, at her thinnest since the late 90s. Packer is constantly checking on her and pursued her for months (even dated Miranda Kerr, 32) yet MC is at her heaviest. Speaks volumes. I'm happy for them and he seems genuinely infatuated with her. Important / Vegas, career future (51,444) by Nathan from USA Let's be clear, unfortunately Mariah's recent performances have been plagued with negative press. Plus, she's still not back to her AI look and confidence with Vegas leading up. I'll put it this way. Ticket sales are okay-ish. Expensive seats are doing well, middle tiers are proving more difficult. Sadly, she isn't doing any real live promo showing off her pipes, so honestly, Vegas will initially sell out at 60-70% capacity. If she proves herself and does well, they can quickly increase and do well. If she pull any of that nonsense from the Chanteuse Show, the Vegas run and her career are finished. Voice, show and the works (49,396) by Nathan from USA Touring and succeeding shows have definitely robbed Mariah of chunks of her voice, but I feel that since 2010ish with the AL tour, she kind of reached a plateau vocally of ever recooperating to years prior, say 2006, but the fraction that's left will never leave. Kind of makes sense? I mean could you imagine MC doing a 20 date tour with bronchitis and then a 6 almost consecutive offering of 6 Beacon dates in her earlier pre-1993 years? Since '93 her voice has been super fragile, he'll look what the 40 date Mimi tour did to her. Point is, I think the Vegas shows and their ample spacing will be just fine and she'll be in solid (though limited) vocal shape. I'm very curious as to how she's going to tackle all those numbers 1s she's been refraining from singing all these years. The smart move would be to record some several unpolished studio takes in these next months for certain parts, but definitely arrange the key a bit or hell, even perform some of the classics acoustically. The fans would love it I guarantee. On another note, B, We Belong Together is definitely a gem. It's what made me a fan. I was in the car and we were listening to SUBG by Kelly and they changed it to MC and I was like pissed, who the hell is this? After I heard the climax I was like "This was fucking incredible, I need to know more about this woman." That's how you know a song is a good song. And that's about how it went. Vegas is career suicide (49,008) by Nathan from USA Vegas just turns artists into hasbeens. She under no circumstances needs to lock herself into another disastrous deal ala AI. Not to mention she's only received negative publicity regarding her current vocal condition for over 1-2 years, starting back with the May 13 AI taping fiasco, following GMA performance with the east/west coast dubbing plus a definitely tipsy-drunk MC, then the BET Honors lip of the remix, the Chanteuse and Rockefeller performances, not too mention other high profile misses she's had in recen't years; the MJ funeral, almost all morning show/non-pretaped performances. I don't think it would even sell well to be honest PS. Watch, she's gonna bring out those Asia/Beacon wigs and just burn any possibility of a comeback into dust. (Wednesday 7 January 2015; 7:35)

First of all, Carey owns her penthouse in TriBeCa and purchased it for 9 million in 2000, it's worth $25 million now. Carey lives in the 16-18 floors, the 15th floor just sold for 13.5 million. She also owns the home in LA with Nick for 10 million and the home in the Bahamas worth well over 5 million. PS. The 2 million a year upkeep for her lifestyle is absurd, nor could you have any idea what that number is. Having a 24 hour entourage is incredibly expensive, not to mention her taxes, fees for managers and publicists, shopping, vacations etc. I wouldn't be surprised if with current inflation rates, she's spending 5-10 million a year. Disappointed (47,336) by Nathan from USA This tour is extremely disappointing. Let's all be honest. We haven't heard a live vocal performance or any of the new album live for months. Then we get news of the new tour, promise of new setlists, new emotions to share and songs etc. We get a incredibly hoarse and out of character Mariah. She's known and been preparing for the tour for months, and she can't have her voice sorted? What has she been doing? Not only that, over half, prolly closer to 75% of the concert is lip-synched. All the new songs, and all the classics suffer from partial miming. Worse, I expected her to at least re-record songs for lipping, hence her studio visits recently. Album cut lipping is extremely lazy and obvious, and she is basically destroying what's left of her reputation. I personally, do not see recovery. I pray. She no longer even attempts to grace award shows anymore, and her vocal insecurities grow more apparent every album. Unless she can seriously get her act and voice together soon, I think her retiring is unfortunately the way to go. (Friday 10 October 2014; 16:18)

The truth about Ms. Carey's voice (47,335) by Nathan from USA Unfortunately, what is responsible for Mariah's vocal deterioration are not her nodules, per se. [censored] If you look back at 90-92, her voice was very soulful, full-bodied, thick with ease to growl and perform any type of vocal exercise required without strain. This is Mariah's natural voice, which we were unable to enjoy for long. [censored] Notice by '93, her tone has changed into an increasingly girlish timbre and more nasally sounding. She already begins experiencing worrisome vocal issues by the end of '93 on her MB Tour. By '94 (Merry Christmas), her voice seems to settle in to the new change, yet the difference in her voice is readily apparent. Mariah's voice has been used in an unnatural way, with her larynx in a non natural position. [censored] hence her even thinner, higher voice for CB. If you hear her now, her voice is noticeably nasally, thin and completely deformed from what it once was. This is what caused her inflamed nodules and decline. My thoughts (43,094) by Nathan from USA So I'm not really feeling the standard cover. The deluxe one is definitely much better. I can't stand that same pose/airbrush/photoshop TEOM esque cover. It's okay though. I think the Billboard cover would have been a much better choice. Also, it seems that was shot around the time #Beautiful was released/GMA time. Now, what happened to the two covers that were going to be on the album? I have mixed feelings towards the track listing as well. I don't think TME or TAOLG should be on the album, nor do I get why the hell BGK or IAW fro 2010 remixes are on there? It just seems like a lazy effort. And from the looks of her 4/30 pics, it doesn't look like she's getting back to her AI body. I really hope this amazes us and she really goes for the jugular. I'm really hoping her Today performance is better and has more/better song selections. (Thursday 1 May 2014; 7:00)

Guys relax (42,776) by Nathan from USA I'm am so sure that we're in for a very pleasant surprise in the near future. Everything's been kept so mum lately, eerily mum. They are acting as though there isn't even an album in the works. I think they are pumping up the album with the element of surprise/shock value release. 6-7 weeks ago, Mimi said she isn't coming back until it's finished. A month ago, they hold an album party. Since then there's been a calculated silence. Trust me, 2 weeks away there is no way MC wouldn't have announced its postponement. Wait and see guys, wait and see. We are in for a nice surprise I guarantee. PS. Leave Jermaine alone. This is obviously her plan and you all need to trust in her and see. (Tuesday 22 April 2014; 6:52)

My thoughts (42,755) by Nathan from USA Believe it or not, recent events have made me "much more" excited for this album/era than I have been post push-back of 7/23. Here's why. After all the stalls/failed singles, I think the route it appears MC's taking as of late will be best. She's kept mum on everything album related. Now I hear it's disappeared off Islands' and other websites? Nah. This is a bluff if you ask me. Until Mariah herself says it's cancelled, it's not. She's kind of taking the "Beyonce" route. I'm betting on May 6th, or as close to that date as possible, we won't here anything about it. Not a peep. Then boom. We'll get the album available only digitally and as a package and a new single available, artworks, titles, articles. plus promo. Hopefully this is what they'll do. Let's see, but I hope I'm right.
