Fans rally behind distraught diva after failed marriage

Videos of Mariah Carey during "The Elusive Chanteuse" Tour 2014 in Japan surfaced after fans recorded an off-key and lost-in-lyrics diva struggling to stay afloat amidst excited fans and a recent devastating divorce. The 45-year-old five-time Grammy Award winner Mariah Carey is on a world tour for her 14th studio album entitled, "Me. I am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse".

Released in May of this year, the album received generally positive reviews among critics. Not entirely one of her best work, critics and fans alike agree that this diva still has the power of her voice to back a long-running career. Now reviews the album and shares that "Carey's back to adding her sparkly touch to summer-ready pop tunes."

However, Entertainment Weekly comments that though Mariah Carey's "The Elusive Chanteuse" (Tour 2014) reveals strength, the diva is "trying to power through a note where it sounds like digital technology might be holding her up by that straps of that crocheted swimsuit".

Mariah Carey's 2014 tour for the album "The Elusive Chanteuse" in Japan early this month revealed that the songstress' voice might not be as powerful as it once was. Apart from seeming to forget the lyrics of her own songs, Carey sounded like she couldn't carry a strong tune as she did before.

Mariah Carey struggled during the first leg of her 2014 tour at Makuhari Messe in Japan, where fans posted videos of her onstage. She did sound different, not her usual booming and melodious voice according to comments. However, her Japanese fans continue to rally behind her, saying that apart from the few bumps, Mariah Carey 2014 tour was a success.

Apart from the voice malfunctions during the Mariah Carey 2014 tour, the diva made headlines as she apparently blew out a few lines to ex-husband, Nick Cannon in the song "Don't Explain, ,belting out "I know you cheated motherfucker!" replacing the lyrics "And I know you can cheat, right or wrong, don't matter".
