She might be known as the ultimate diva, but throughout her Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour, Mariah Carey has proven she's also very down-to-earth as she's happily posed for photos and greeted her fans. The 46-year-old headed to Manchester on Friday for the latest performance as she was flooded with gifts from adoring fans.
Sharing some snaps to Instagram, Mariah revealed a cuddly teddy toy and a bouquet of flowers she'd been given. Flashing a beaming smile in the backseat of her car, she wrote: "Fan moments darling on my way to see you Manchester."
And as she left her hotel, Mariah opted for a surprisingly low-key outfit compared to yesterday's standards. Sporting her signature plunging neckline, the star was dressed in a zip-up black hoodie and matching joggers. It was a far cry from yesterday's glitzy ensemble.
On Thursday, the singing sensation proved she was still Queen Diva as she went all out in the glam stakes with a plunging green sequin gown and huge white fur coat. As she left her London hotel on Thursday afternoon, the star was particularly eye-catching in her extravagant ensemble - as well as her eye-popping cleavage that was barely contained beneath the glitzy gown's daring neckline.
As she stepped out from the Corinthia Hotel, Mariah was keen to please the swarm of fans and photographers who were waiting on the steps as she posed up a storm. Wowing in the curve-hugging dress, which cinched in at her tiny waist before falling to skim the floor, the star flashed a beaming smile for the paps.
She topped off the glam look with an oversized white fur coat, despite the gloriously sunny afternoon, and a pair of giant round-lensed sunglasses. The star's long blonde locks were styled into a smooth straight 'do, which she had flicked away from her face. Meanwhile, just a glimpse of her flawless skin and nude lips could be seen behind the shades and her pale pink manicure flattered the sparkling rock on her finger.
The singer took to the stage at Leeds' First Direct Arena on Thursday night as she continues on the European leg of her Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour - just days after wowing the crowd at the SSE Hydro Glasgow, Scotland. Aside from her show-stopping tour performances, the newly engaged singer is set to star in an eight-episode docu-series called Mariah's World, which will focus on her world tour and her upcoming wedding to billionaire businessman James Packer.
She said: "I'm excited to bring my fans into my life for the next journey I'm about to embark on. I'm already having so much fun with this documentary and I know you will too. There is nothing like capturing these moments."
The cameras will follow Mariah on her current tour in the United States, Europe and Africa and as she plans her wedding to James. All we know so far about their nuptials is that it could happen with a private ceremony on a luxury Caribbean island.
The couple - whose engagement was revealed in January after a whirlwind romance - are said to be planning to tie the knot this summer, and they're expected to limit the guest list to their nearest and dearest. According to gossip website TMZ, the loved up couple are set to get married on the island of Barbuda this summer, with just 50 people attending the nuptials.
The report adds that guests will be flown in on private jets, with the ceremony expected to be mid-June. The island is also where her billionaire fiancé is building a private $250 million resort with actor Robert De Niro.
