The Star / nomination (79,864) by 123 from USA So proud that she is being recognized for this song. A lot of people don't like it but you cannot deny the lyrics or the fact that is was beautifully written. I do agree about Right to Dream, but Almost Home is a throw away track in my opinion. A big reason she got nominated is because she campaigned for this song. It's how these nominations/awards work in Hollywierd. She made a huge presentation to the foreign press with a performance, tons of interviews for them, and activities (sleigh rides, puppy kennel), snacks, and egg nog while they waited their turn to interview her. Then the follow up cd they received of the song was pretty cool too. She went all out the way a diva should, catering to them. I hope she wins. Look at this performance from just a year ago. She interacts with the audience and the live portion of the vocals are really good. She looked great. I love how she went for some higher notes at the end and created new ad libs from a song from 1990. Anthony for manager (77,826) by 123 from USA I still feel Mariah should hire Anthony as her manager. If you watched Mariah's World he was the only one that pointed out all that was wrong like the old team's post on how Mariah's team is a sinking ship, to the classless a$$ shot Miska posted that isn't Mariah's style at all, but she let it go because a 14 year old told her she looks hot so she figures if she thinks I look hot, I'll leave it up. He pushed Mariah to do rehearsals even though she is notorious for not rehearsing, the SSFT was probably her best tour next to the Adventures tour but with better vocals. Everyone else just turns a blind eye while he said what needed to be said and cared that her tour looked great. I was shocked when Mariah didn't want to be bothered with putting together the tour and dealing with the details and only wanted to show up and know if she was going to ride in a "cute bus". Yet she got mad when he changed things without her approval. He should at least manage the musical aspect of her career if she wants to keep Stella and have Stella manage the tv and movies projects she has always wanted to do. (Thursday 10 August 2017; 01:56)

I'm surprised the shade Anthony threw at Tanya (I can't believe we are calling him that) with the last sentence of his interview. "Some of the dancers her team hired are great dancers, but they're not choreographers or creative directors." Anthony was replaced by Tanya as creative director in Mariah's World. Re: Biography (77,632) (77,645) by 123 from USA This was a great idea in 2002, when she was originally shopping her biography around, but no one wanted to pay what she requested and nowadays no one reads books anymore. She is better off doing a limited mini series like the OJ mini series. That was really good. It would be great since she wouldn't be in front of the camera and tell her side of things. Hopefully giving us more insight, behind the scenes moments as to why certain things happened. Like when she was bed ridden for a while and gained all the weight.
