About Robert-Anthony from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

Not surprised (106,264) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Mary J. Blige has had a lot of high profile pop duets during her 30 years in the music business. Mary's duets with U2, George Michael, Sting, Elton John, Santana, Ray Charles, Maroon 5, Rod Stewart, Andre Bocelli, and Quincy Jones have broaden her appeal to the music industry executives as a whole. I think the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame committee looks at that too. That is what MC's career has lacked.

A Daydream release in 2024 (106,259) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I often wonder how a Daydream album would sell in 2024 if it was released in 2024. Would it sell a million copies plus during in its first week and break Spotify records? Would Fantasy, One Sweet Day and ABMB break streaming and iTunes records? I picked Daydream because that is when MC's career went into overdrive and her popularity increased. Tortured Poets Department seems to be Taylor Swift's Daydream. Her popularity is so high right now. She could release a David Guetta and Zedd TPD remix album in the Fall and it would sell 1.2 million plus copies too.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (106,257) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Lol. I probably should have saved my regular closing emoji for that post. I am just wondering if there is a group of music industry heads who have it out to deny MC of these huge music accomplishments like Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Hot 100 airplay and the Grammys. I won't mention his name though. You know the one who went back to the party looking for MC.

The Celebration completely 100% sold out (106,246) by Robert-Anthony from United States
The audience is having fun alone with MC. She brought out Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks last night. It is funny her first few shows are always rocky and then the rest of them are spot on. I think her perception of how the audience will react to her really causes MC a little anxiety during the first few shows. I am glad her shows are selling out.

TEOM concerts (106,244) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Videos from 4/20 really proves MC is singing live 98% of the time. Her voice has really improved from this time last year. And her tone now is so beautiful with warm and smoothing tones. I hope she gets an album out soon.

Thank you, Shezz. I am going to try to keep hope alive. I hope we will see some type of new release this year. Until then, I am ready for a summer vacation. I have eight more weeks until I can get a break.

Hard truths (106,224) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I truly feel MC never had that "Wow" stage presence. She just wasn't groomed and polished that way. Early performances show MC whose whole stage presence materialized for the audience to focus only on how she used her voice. Tommy never allowed that "Wow" performer element to materialized for MC like singers we would say had that "Wow" stage presence early on during their careers. Singers like Michael Jackson, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, Prince, Teddy Pendergrass, Usher and Fantasia. These artists could give you a show that you walked away from the venue thinking on the way home, "Wow."

A 2am surprise (106,221) by Robert-Anthony from United States
Has MC ever given the Lambily something like a 2 a.m. surprise on a release day? Taylor Swift is a marketing genius. She knows how to keep her fans excited and broke at the same time. Lol. I guess this is just a different time of Friday release days and using the digital music boom for an artist's advantage. A Tuesday release day unannounced double album would not have had the same effect in 1995. Some record store clerk would have spoiled Taylor's surprise. Oh well, she will dominate the Grammys again next year.

Las Vegas (106,208) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I think MC is just not able to move her voice along notes like she was use to doing. And she is thinking more in her head about executing each note unlike in the 90s when those notes came out with effortlessly. Therefore, her hand is not moving as much as she is singing.

Las Vegas (106,207) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I feel that we just want the album she has said continously that she is working on. I think MC is just telling us things to keep the new music narrative going on and on. We are not getting a new album any time soon. The Las Vegas shows and Christmas is all we are getting this year. Her heart is not into producing a body of work like 20 years. That studio spark is not in her eyes anymore.

I forgot that her accident was during that time. I just watched her 2005 BET Blueprint performance. That hand was just a movin in the air while she was performing ILT and WBT. Mimi, why do think her hand doesn't move as much now? I will let you respond, then I will tell you my reasons why.

Maybe I used the wrong word to describe what seems to me was the start of her popularity and decline on the charts. #Beautiful should have done better on the Hot 100. What caused it to stall at #15 on the chart? It had all the right elements for a monster 6 weeks at #1 type of song.

This year (106,189) by Robert-Anthony from United States
This year is really going by really fast. Forty-five days until June 1st. I can't believe summer is almost before us. What are your summer plans? I am going to take a road trip across the Midwest to D.C. with Zayn's new album playing which comes out May 17th. Maybe I will revisit Rainbow during my trip. What MC album or another artist's album will you revisit this summer? I have to do something that is exciting and exudes the summer feeling before Mimi brings Christmas back. Lol.

Las Vegas (106,183) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I was thinking today that MC pushed her voice really hard from 1990-1995 recording back to back albums in the studio. After those years, she continued to push her voice with more use of the whistle and breathiness tone. I am just wondering if it were those two factors that caused MC to lose her ability to even sing like she did before 2003. I know I am beating a dead horse with her loss of vocal abilities, but it is really sad that she has to sing to pre-recorded tracks at a live show. Monica or Deborah Cox would never do that to their fans.

Las Vegas (106,173) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I was scratching my head after watching Xavier's video. The facade of a total package artist is front and center now. Maybe we will never see MC16 released. This is what MC used to be through the eras 1-7

1. Debut - mesmerising
2. Emotions - insane vocals
3. Music Box - mature artist
4. Daydream - confident artist
5. Butterfly - transformation
6. Rainbow - versatile artist
7. Glitter - trendsetter
8. Charmbracelet - lackluster album, vocally on point world tour
9. TEOM - the return of the voice
10. E=MC2 - still on top
11. Memoirs - sales decline
12. MIAM - popularity decline on the charts
13. Caution - critically exclaimed album and tour, high Spotify numbers, vocal decline
14. 2019-2024 - queen of Christmas, MC16 delayed constantly

MC would be surprised (106,165) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I am here this morning in a popular Austin, Texas record shop called Waterloo Records. They are already sold out of the Cowboy Carter vinyl. Sales clerks are discussing different track variations between what was sold on her website compared to the physical release. Customers are calling and asking if the Cowboy Carter vinyl is still in stock. I wish the hype right now about a Beyonce release was MC. I really feel MC underestimates how the public would receive MC16. Lambs and other non fans are hungry for new Mariah Carey music. She would be surprised that it would probably do better in sales than Caution. It has been 6 years too long now.

Uhmmm Mimi's deep cuts are MIA (106,164) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I knew she was going to pull something like this. Knowing how she can become so fixed on an "anniversary", MC just wanted us to get hyped about TEOM all over again. She is not as predictable with her actions like she was 25 years ago. She spoiled us releasing new albims every two years, letting us have a glimpse into the recording process and her collaborator choices. It is going to be another boring Mimi summer for us filled with lots of guessing games and insider accounts.

Article: Lenny Kravitz and Mariah Carey are dating? (106,157) by Robert-Anthony from United States
I guess we will know it is true when TMZ is able to take some pictures of the couple together and broadcast them on their show. By the way, he owns a home in Paris and a recording studio in the Bahamas.

I think it is true. He is a legend, established, loved his late mother, a musical genius, sexy and their Grammy moment earlier this year said it all.
