About Stacey from USA: Been a fan since 1993. Favorite albums include Daydream, TEOM, and Music Box. I love a good discussion, but won't stand for hateful comments because we disagree. I am too old to deal with drama and so are you. Keep it real with me and we'll have some fun. Peace.

Same. I loved it instantly.

Re: Looking In / TMOMC (95,708) (95,712) by Stacey from USA
Me too. Looking In is my life's theme song. Such a sad song that really displays how miserable MC was at that time.

Re: Negative Nancy (95,484) (95,506) by Stacey from USA
I hear you. Three tracks (Do You Think, Everything Fades Away, Slipping Away) are taking up space that could be used for other unreleased songs. And the second disc being devoted to a concert kinda irks me too. I'm sure she has enough unreleased stuff to fill up a second disc. That said I agree with Randy and Edward. We've gotten so much rare stuff lately I can't complain. I collected her CDs, promo CDs, etc for years up until 2007. I had the elusive Butterfly Meme Remixes promo from Brazil. So most of these remixes I've heard. Still though for everyone to have access to these mixes is great. Cheers.

Shame. I feel shame.

Re: Mariah en Espanol (95,400) (95,404) by Stacey from USA
I don't really care about who has the better accent, lol. My comments were a total dig at J-Lo's singing abilities or lack thereof.

Re: Sweetheart non Rap (95,380) (95,385) by Stacey from USA
Same here. Usually I prefer her songs without the rap in hopes she'll save said rap versions for the remix. With this song and others like Heartbreaker, the rap fits perfectly and the song flows better with it there then without.

Mariah en Espanol (95,384) by Stacey from USA
Haha, someone should tell J-Lo that's how you sing in Spanish, lol.

I hope you'll stick around. You, Bill, Andrew, and sometimes that Edward guy are sane logical voices I hope to read more of.

Haha, very true. Excuse me, I need to get some popcorn, and get ready for the fireworks.

Re: Mariah after Midnight (95,320) (95,323) by Stacey from USA
Personally I'm just not invested in her career and personal life as I once was. Sure, I come here to see what the fans are currently chatting about, but then I move on to more important things. That's not a diss to those who do care more about all things MC. It's just not worth my time anymore. She's achieved a legendary career. The MC30 stuff proves that. I guess at age 42, I simply appreciate the amazing music I've been blessed to hear. Sure there are a few duds, bombs, what was she thinking songs, but those are the exceptions. I chose to focus on the amazing career she has had and the rest of the stuff I can't control roll off my shoulders.

Sad Yours ft JT isn't there. But if this is accurate, pretty good tracklisting.

Which performance of Vanishing are you talking about? Curious.

Re: Dear Delulons (95,236) (95,247) by Stacey from USA
Well said. Tommy controlled everything, including it stands to reason how she treated her voice. It's no secret her voice started taking a turn for the worst after they separated. Even if she didn't smoke or drink, being around people who do, breathing that smoke in is just as bad. Celine is around Mariah's age and I don't cringe everytime she gets up to sing. She lipsyncs too, but there is no doubt she's taken better care of her voice. I think Mariah is the better talent, but Celine wins in the voice care department.

Underneath the Stars (95,210) by Stacey from USA
So in all this talk about Save The Day, did you see what UTS accomplished? Love that song. Love Daydream.

Re: ABMB (95,163) (95,189) by Stacey from USA
My local A/C station only plays one MC song, ABMB. So many other gems they could play. But I'll take it. ABMB sounds so great on the radio, 20+ years after its release.

Re: Sadly, criticism is the main order of the day (95,179) (95,188) by Stacey from USA
Oh dear, here we go again. Some like the song. Some don't. Everyone has a right to express such. MCA is full of diverse opinions. If that bothers you, please leave and find go a place where everyone agrees 100% of the time. Let me know what you find. Cheers.

Save The Day (95,130) by Stacey from USA
I like the message of the song. Her vocals in certain parts are amazing, especially the 2nd verse as others have mentioned. That's about it. The song tries to hard with pieces that don't fit together. The Fugees sample sounds out of place. Lauryn's vocals repeating over and over again sounds odd. But, if The Rarities era is about giving us songs we've never heard before, then keep them coming. We might not like them all, but it's great we are getting the chance to decide either way.

Classic response. Everytime I see someone attempt to put you in your place, I think "oh no, this person has no idea what they are getting into". Another one bites the dust.

Re: The Rarities content (95,016) (95,028) by Stacey from USA
The 15 songs should be ones we've never heard before. That's my dream, lol.
