Mariah on DNice Instagram Live (97,676) by The Real Deal from USA Did anybody catch Mariah on DNice's Instagram live over the weekend? I caught a few minutes of it. She was talking about how they were going to make "Save The Day" t-shirts to support DNice in regard to his Club Quarantine, but then JD never ended up making the shirts lol. DNice said it looked like she was in the recording studio during the live and she said "We can't reveal such things." Haha. Does this mean that she is an independent artist now, releasing music on her own, going forward? Sony does not use Tunecore to distribute their music. I pose two questions: 1) Do you think that she will release the Angels Advocate remix album tomorrow since they are all MOAIA album cuts? 2) Do you think she will release the Nicki Minaj duet single version for Up Out Of My Face? Re: E=MC2 (97,323) (97,324) by The Real Deal from USA I agree - or at the very least they could've cross promoted "Migrate" to urban and "I Stay In Love" to pop/AC, or they could've released "Migrate" as a standalone single and release "I Stay In Love" as a third. Re: E=MC2 (97,312) (97,316) by The Real Deal from USA I Stay In Love is my second favorite MC song of all time. My first is Can't Let Go. I honestly think it sounds more like Can't Let Go as opposed to We Belong Together or Don't Forget About Us. If anything the song with you has more of the harmonic structure of those two aforementioned. And as far as single choices from e equals MC squared I would have chosen the following: Touch My Body, Migrate, I'm That Chick (with intro), I Stay In Love, I'll Be Loving U Long Time (solo). I do like Cruise Control but I always felt there was something missing from the song such as where she spells out the word Cruise I feel like that should have been omitted or that needed to be repeated twice. So that being said, I would not have chosen that as a single. And even though Side Effects charted for a week, I don't think that its chorus was catchy enough for single material. The One and I Only Wanted were never available commercially as singles at all. I always fantasized what The One eemix singles would be. I know that on The Remixes album, we had the So So Def version, but I knew that there had to be many other remixes of it because of its intention to be a single when it was replaced midway by Boy I Need You. Even more surprising is the release of I Only Wanted. I always fantasized about this being an actual single release and had no idea that remixes were actually commissioned for it. At this point, I am completely befuddled on how they are working their charts nowadays. It says that Oh Santa! is #3 Digital Song Sale overall, so how could it only be #76 on Hot 100? SMH. Adding "The Rarities" songs to original albums (96,659) by The Real Deal from USA I made a playlist adding "The Rarities" songs to their original intended albums. It really changes the sound direction of "Music Box". In regard to "Daydream", both "One Night" and "Slipping Away" fit in seamlessly. Check out the order I put the songs in below and listen to them in that same order for a whole new experience from each album. Debut album: I added "Here We Go Again" right after "Vanishing". Emotions: I added "Can You Hear Me" right after "To Be Around You". Music Box: I played around with this track listing a bit.
