About Stacey from USA: Been a fan since 1993. Favorite albums include Daydream, TEOM, and Music Box. I love a good discussion, but won't stand for hateful comments because we disagree. I am too old to deal with drama and so are you. Keep it real with me and we'll have some fun. Peace.

Re: Unforgettable acoustic (78,244) (78,258) by Stacey from USA
I wish I could find a clean version to listen in the car with my kids. Help a girl out?

I luv ya, but I gotta disagree. Look at the last picture in the article posted here. Ugh, I grow tired of all the boob spillage.

Re: The album (77,768) (77,774) by Stacey from USA
Vision of Love
Till The End of Time
Dreamlover
AIWFCIY
Melt Away
Breakdown
Whenever You Call (ft. Brian McKnight)
Heartbreaker
Lead the Way
Irresistible
Circles
IBLYLT
One Child
YDWTD

Like others, this list changes daily, lol. I mean, how do I choose one song from the likes of Daydream or TEOM? I went with Melt Away because that song alone just proves her voice was at its peak right there. Sheer perfection.

Re: Fidget spinners (77,671) (77,683) by Stacey from USA
I bought one for my kids, and without knowing it, found myself "spinning" too, lol. They are addictive.

Re: Do you guys remember this? (77,623) (77,649) by Stacey from USA
Never seen this before. Now IDJ should have released this as the video for IBLYLT.

Re: Star (77,588) (77,597) by Stacey from USA
Oh sure. Teaming up with the right person could make this song epic.

Re: Star (77,583) (77,584) by Stacey from USA
I'm hopeful as we all are when new music is announced. But, it's always a guarded optimism. Christmas is Mariah's time so hopefully we'll get something good.

Re: 150 greatest albums by women (77,488) (77,499) by Stacey from USA
Yeah, I was a bit surprised they included Daydream. Butterfly was and still is her crowning moment.

Re: 150 greatest albums by women (77,474) (77,478) by Stacey from USA
Daydream should be in the top 5, if for only the Fantasy remix and how that song single handedly changed the face of music. You're right. At least she was mentioned.

Re: The 4:49 to Careytown (77,402) (77,405) by Stacey from USA
I agree. I've missed those looks. I'll add another moment that reminded me of Mariah days gone by. At the beginning of ABMB, she says to the band hey, don't start the guitar yet. It was a cute moment as she stated the song was from Daydream and she hoped the audience would sing along. Then she playfully gave the band the go ahead to start playing that famous riff we all know and love. It was a cute moment.

Re: Mariah Carey and Lionel Richie kick off epic tour (77,396) (77,404) by Stacey from USA
I agree. The black outfit pic that accompanied the article Eric posted looks great. She looks great.

I love this song. It has such a haunting feel to it.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey performs in final Las Vegas residency show (77,302) (77,306) by Stacey from USA
I'm a healthy curvy size 10, darn near 40. I don't mind a little meat either. But, do we have to see all the meat? It's her outfits that make her unflattering, not the meat itself. Anyone at any size can look good in the right clothes. Mariah has forgotten that concept apparently.

Gotta agree with you there. Ewwww.

Re: "Fourth of July" - unheard vocals (76,739) (76,749) by Stacey from USA
Wow, just wow. I wish she would have sang these full voice vocals over the choruses instead of just the whisper.

Re: Can't Let Go (76,565) (76,593) by Stacey from USA
Such a great song. Darn shame it didn't hit #1.

Re: Brett resurfaces (76,114) (76,116) by Stacey from USA
I've never understood why MC continues to wear an engagement ring and a neckless from a failed relationship.

Re: Celine Dion performance (76,062) (76,068) by Stacey from USA
Celine lip syncs all the time. I think we all can agree on that. The thing is Celine uses technology to her advantage so well that the average ear can't tell the difference. Her use of prerecorded vocals/backing tracks is perfect. I would also add Celine's team is on top of things so performances go off without too many problems.

Re: Fickle lambs (76,015) (76,021) by Stacey from USA
Once a goat, always a goat, lol. If expecting better music from someone we know capable of it makes me a goat, then baaaa, baaaa, baaaaa, baby.

Re: Artists you love that may surprise others (75,972) (75,974) by Stacey from USA
When folks ask me what type of music I'm into, I never know what to say. I can go from Aerosmith to Mariah to Rachmaninoff. I love music. I'm grateful technology has evolved to the point I can download a song and not have to buy the whole album.

Re: I was born at night, not last night (75,958) (75,973) by Stacey from USA
I thought about MIAM a lot when writing my last post. You're absolutely right, B. I won't ever count her out musically. I just believe music isn't her priority right now.

Re: I was born at night, not last night (75,955) (75,957) by Stacey from USA
It's fine to discuss MC's issues at the moment. It's clear she's lost her way. At the end of the day, it's her life and she will do with it what she wants. But, when the "tears of a clown fall down" and she ends up like so many others, I won't feel sorry for her. She is a talent. Nobody is denying her ability to create amazing music. But, somewhere that "saving grace" that is her music left. She finds peace now for some strange reason in taking care of others, albeit to her own detriment. I "wish her well".

Re: Mariah Carey/Bruno Mars - Someday/Treasure (75,931) (75,956) by Stacey from USA
I love this. Great find. Reminds me of Heartbreaker, that light fun uptempo-like beat.

Re: Daydream (75,731) (75,751) by Stacey from USA
So you're saying I need a hearing aid? I know I'm turning 40, but no need to rub it in, lol.
