About Andrew from UK:

Article: Mariah Carey visits cosmetic surgery centre (75,175) by Andrew from UK
Whilst other people may worry about LA Reid leaving the label, I would say, of more concern, is what Mariah is planning on doing to her face or breasts next. In this article, she looks like a different person. She doesn't need another plastic surgeon, she needs a dietician and a trainer who won't take no for an answer. She definitely doesn't need an enabler manager and hangers-on telling her she looks great when she evidently does not. Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is, is that if she were thin and attractive again, she would be of a lot more interest to the younger generation. And, thus, to the label. They look upon someone who is hot as marketable. [censored] It is imperative she do something about it. Image, music and attitude. If she concentrates on those, the label will back her. Right now, I wouldn't be at all surprised if she were dropped on her ass.

Re: Everything Fades Away (75,032) (75,041) by Andrew from UK
Music Box doesn't feel like it's finished after All I've Ever Wanted. Everything Fades Away is drifting and dreamy. It is, quite simply, beautiful. To not have EFA closing Music Box would be like having Daydream without Looking In or Rainbow without TGIFY. I was going to say Butterfly without Outside but actually it doesn't feel complete unless it ends with the Honey remixes. I can't imagine not having those versions of the albums. TTEOT and EFA are amazing. Hark back to the days when Mariah didn't make every song so complicated, seemingly to prove a point, and the production never once felt clunky. As an idea, it would be cool if this site had weekly polls between songs. It would be kinda fun, pitching one song against another one, like Ellen Degeneres makes people do about celebrities. And then see which song is the last one standing. But then I'm sure some clowns around here would vote multiple times for their favourite and take the fun out of it.

Re: Some pictures from the kid's birthday (75,018) (75,038) by Andrew from UK
Has Mariah had another breast augmentation? They're positively ginormous in the photographs posted. They even now have blue streaky veins visible, no? Aside from the fact that they look, quite frankly, ridiculous and not attractive, what vocalist who devloped breathing issues, etc., would strap the equivalent of two bags of flour to their chest? I'm no expert here, but surely, surely that must impede breathing and vocal ability. I'm of the opinion Mariah developed psychological problems in 2000 she never really recovered from.

"Emotions" is positively nothing like "Me. I am Mariah. The Verbose Chanteuse". Nothing. [censored] France, you live on another planet. Planet France? Is that near Betelgeuse? Andromeda? Come visit Earth. It's nice here. 'Cept for all the religious wars and crazy lambs and stuff.

Lame (74,954) by Andrew from UK
What's lame is the people who think that analysing the media output of the star you follow is a bad thing just because you take a dim view of it. It's especially lame considering Mariah had now chosen to use the media to gain herself exposure in the most crass of ways. If she wants it that way she can take the heat when it's shit just as she would take the credit were it not. These high-horse-riding, pedestal-resting, moral-high-ground-assuming social justice warriors spout idiocy designed only to try to spin a positive on a dying argument/position. They do nothing to help Mariah. They just enable her to be even worse. The stupidity of the arguments cannot be dressed up in any kind of superiority.

Wendy, Nick, the crap manager and the career (74,847) by Andrew from UK
Can't help but think people are clutching at straws. Mariah going on Wendy? Getting back with her [censored] ex-husband? I know everyone has come around to the fact that her career lies in tatters and she's in a bad place, but these are surely not the answers. The answer is for her to go write a [censored] great album somewhere in the world in a country that Jermaine Dupri can't even spell (take your pick), an album with some depth and beats and emotion and hooks. In addition, she must lose some weight and be nice to people. She needs to resonate emotionally with Joe Public. Currently listening to Bey on YouTube and her songs are powerful and move me and make me think about emotions I experience in life. And they are confident and well produced. Not the best vocally, but powerful. Her songs and her shows scream "I'm here, I'm the best. Bow down." Mariah is writing about cheetos, and singing shit like "I Don't". Agree with previous posters that she needs to let go of songwriting control if she doesn't have anything interesting, deep or emotional to convey anymore. If she's exhausted, best have someone assist. I remember when I first heard "It's Like That" I was bouncing around on my bed in shock that Mariah had done something different. This is a crucial time in her career. If she doesn't save it with the next album, party's over. Certainly going on trash shows like Wendy and getting back with Nick Cannon is not a path fruitful of positivity. And for [censored] sake: How much longer does this Stella shite have to go on? Mariah is a [censored] muppet for keeping her on board. I would actually tell her that to her face. After I finished blubbing. Mariah needs to sort her shit out around now. She's not got much leeway or goodwill left. I wonder what old Mariah would think of what current Mariah has done to the career she killed herself 24/7 for? Drink and drugs. Comes down to that, doesn't it?

Re: Andrew the [censored] (74,785) (74,812) by Andrew from UK
You asked me not to speak to you directly. Always try to speak logic. I don't live in a god-fearing country that accuses children of being witches in the name of a deity. Or one where nonsense is spouted without fear of reproach. Dissent is paramount. No, you're rational. But you know you're not. And we know you're not. And you know that we know that you know and so on. Unicorns run free.

Surely you wanted to ask what "field" he is in for which Mariah makes him strive to do better? "Talking absolute sh*te" would be my, somewhat informed, guess.

Re: Saint Mariah (74,714) (74,719) by Andrew from UK
Eddie Eddie Eddie, are you [censored]? Ha mate, you must be. Wait for all the people to tell you that they don't think Mariah is a "saint" at all, but then go on to tell you why she absolutely has done nothing wrong. But then try to suggest a rationality by relating a minor thing she has done wrong (that is intentionally of no consequence) as a way of trying to prove that they aren't delusional propagandists. You gotta be bloody p*ssed, mate. And, yeah, that means drunk here. Much better word.

Re: Sleeping on matresses with 5 girls? (74,702) (74,710) by Andrew from UK
I've posted my email address on here before. My name, my face, my email address. Yet, I'm loathe to entertain anyone who wants to communicate but says they can't "reveal [their] identity" alluding to the face that they are someone important and I can't possibly know about that. Rather you just didn't mention it in the first place. Or rather, I won't entertain want seems like, prima facie, an attention seeking fantasy. I hope, mostly for your sake, that it's not, but I'm not that intrigued to humour the possibility.

Re: Sleeping on matresses with 5 girls? (74,682) (74,690) by Andrew from UK
Please provide the material to support the claim that Mariah was never poor. I assume you have some. Right? You wouldn't write yet more conjecture? Right? If it is true it would end her career very quickly as her whole story would be known to be based on a lie and it would likely, I imagine, be considered one of the greatest hoaxes in the music industry. Even lambs would abandon her. So, please provide the supporting materials. You have some?

What's up, toots? (74,567) by Andrew from UK
At a glance: "Nigel is a petty queen." (74112) "Yes *girl* agreed." (73719) "Good for the lambs standing up against *her*." (73404) "Mimi L is wishy washy also but most of the negative comments that borderline hate usually come from the gay male lambs." (73595) "Go find a *man* and get a life." (73461) "Good for the lambs standing up against *her*." (73404). "Actually, while you make think the public at large knows here music they don't. Her music is typically hits in the gay community." (72266) "Anthony is a drama queen." (70189). "Tanaka and Anthony are closet downlow gays with nice bodies." (69204) "Bryan is also gay, the gays say. So it's truly not their fault lol." At a quick glance: "I think Bruno and The Smeezingtons would be excellent for a 1990's Mariah throwback songs" (74,542). "She should work with Miguel and Happy Perez" (74,440). "She should listen to Bruno Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox" (74,379). "She should collaborate with Frank Ocean, Miguel, and The Weekend" (74,368). "She needs to work with Bruno Mars and The Smeezingtons and Miguel" (73,521). Repetitive, am I? Lol. You put the B in banal, buddy.

Re: Mariah the songwriter (74,518) (74,525) by Andrew from UK
Doesn't it come to something when the solution for a good "era" (this word is overused, suggest "project") involves the lambs planning for Mariah making completely different music to that which she has been making for years, relying upon music executives to tell her what to do, and, now, other people to write her material for her? I'm not saying I disagree. But it is demonstrative of the current state of her career. I wish I could've predicted this. Oh. Wait. I did.

Mariah Carey featuring Mariah Carey (74,449) by Andrew from UK
If you ever wondered what two Mariahs on stage doing a duet and singing around each other would look and sound like, the last minute of thisis probably as close as you're going to get. Totally bizarre. Utterly brilliant.

The cycle of the lambs (74,441) by Andrew from UK
Mariah announces album, lamb gets excited, lamb chooses different types of music lamb wants to hear on it, lamb chooses new artists and producers Mariah should work with to achieve said sound, lamb gets frustrated with Mariah dropping hints for well over six months but not really saying anything of substance, lamb gets excited at photo of Mariah is studio but lamb is disappointed with who she is in studio with, lamb gets annoyed when album is pushed back, the already fatigued lamb tries to remain excited for the album after what feels like a lifetime of waiting, lamb gets frustrated with lack of promo for albums upcoming release, lamb suffers massive breakdown when Mariah releases another self-referential titled album featuring rent-a-rappers and produced by Jermaine Dupri, lamb becomes depressed when anything fails to chart well, lamb looks forward to next album release hoping everything will be different next time.

Re: Insta (74,343) (74,348) by Andrew from UK
What's totally strange is that Mariah still wears the ring in the first place. I'm not sure people are looking at it in awe, they're looking at it wondering what kind of person wouldn't have given it back, considering the circumstances in which it was given. Or at least have taken the bloody thing off and put it in a safe. Again, really not sure Mariah is compos mentis when it comes to the chasm between the way she probably wants to be perceived and how she actually is.
