Mariah single in Vegas (53,142) by 123 from USA
I love that Mariah stayed away from the spotlight and focused on herself, toured overseas, and hasn't said a peep regarding Nick, the marriage, or the divorce. She didn't come back out until she had a new project. I love that now we see her hanging our with Michael Strahan and Tyson. It's nice to see her time for herself and get out there. I think her working in Vegas and staying in one central location will do her some good.

TGIFY Vegas performance (53,086) by 123 from USA
Wow to this performance. I need her to embrace her darker, smokier tone. The way she played with areas of her voice from low and husky to whispery, to these soulful belts. You even hear people reacting to her singing. The ending is why she is Mariah Carey. I need some songs on the new album with these types of vocals and song direction.

Love Takes Time - Vegas (53,063) by 123 from USA
Ok, my mind is made up. I have to go, if only to witness this song sung, one last time.

This is why I'm attending the Vegas show (53,060) by 123 from USA
I've been a fan since 1990. I doubt she will ever sing her classics from the first two albums ever again after this show. She hasn't sang IDWTC since 1995 and LTT since 1993. IDWTC sounds great with her current voice and it sounds live. I don't know if and when I'll ever get to hear her sing these songs ever again sans a snippet here and there at a future concern if she choses to which is unlikely.

Lee TS / Marcel (52,977) by 123 from USA
Lee, if all artists that were inspired by Mariah would show up, the auditorium would be full. Why did you choose those two, those are messy choices. Why not Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Britney? Marcel, please don't say things like, Mariah doesn't like any younger artists that can sing. She only doesn't like artist that bite her style like Christina did in the beginning and Ariana. Mariah has given props to many younger vocalists like Beyoncé, Candace Glover, and Kelly Clarkson whom Mariah said that Kelly's covers of her songs sound better than Mariah's. A comment like that doesn't sound insecure to me on younger vocalists.

If it's over performances (52,976) by 123 from USA
So the SNL one is overall the best one partially because she sung the whole song but the Grammy performance had the better almost inhuman ending that was just perfection. It's missing the second verse but she made up for it for turning those vocals out and I prefer the live versions of that song than the pristine clear studio version. All the soulful singing in the live versions with those growls, I prefer her singing that way over the clear pristine vocals on songs that lean more towards pop. I miss the soulful songs of her first two albums, even those the MOR pop album Music Box is her top seller worldwide.

This is qhm / All That (52,975) by 123 from USA
I don't even care for Carly's music as pop especially today's pop is disposable microwave hits. All That really surprised me and I loved the production. I heard it on Tidal. I've been checking out Tidal and finding a lot of new music that I probably wouldn't have come across on my own. I love your write ups, you sound very intelligent. I've been wanting Mariah to get with Mark Ronson to do some old school-a la Amy Winehouse type of songs.

LTT / audio / Mimi L (52,973) by 123 from USA
Mimi L, LTT is one of my all time faves from her. The song is such a standout track from a discography of great songs and with Mariah, that's hard to. I am going to Vegas to hear that song specifically. That bridge, I used to rewind that part over and over. Those clips of LTT and Someday not only sounded live, but really good. It just proves my theory right that she just hasn't been disciplined enough to care for her fragile yet complicated voice and range. I can't wait to go see her in July.

Licia (52,817) by 123 from USA
I agree completely. Faded is my favorite song on the album. I know people have criticized it as sounding like a Memoir leftover or for having a simplistic beat, but the song is simply magical. Mike Will really killed it with such a simple, yet delicate beat for Mariah to wrap her voice around. Couldn't be a Memoir leftover with such a beautiful vocal performance. Mariah really snaps on those vocals, layering upon layering done right. The vocal crescendo in the end is the best one in an album full of unique, boombastic crescendos. I would have loved a live performance of this song, its too good to let it fade. I hope she works with Mike Will Made It again, another song with them together needs to happen.

Beautiful intro with Jeezy (52,816) by 123 from USA
Sans the lip synch drama that came with this performance, the track is great. I love her delicate intro, Jeezy's verse afterwards and DJ Mustards simplistic, yet hard, beat.

New album suggestions (52,808) by 123 from USA
I've already moved on to what she is going to offer us on her new album. Her last album was her best in 10 years, among Daydream and Emancipation. I already posted on song that displayed one direction or sound I want her to visit with Jojo's Far From Heaven. I also like Carly Rae Jepsen's All That. I would Mariah to collaborate with the producers of that song and bring back a nostalgic sounding song like that. I'm also all for her working with Jermaine in creating more old school soul songs like Make It Look Good and IDKWTD. Miguel and Happy Perez would be a no brainer. The Beautiful remix with the beautiful intro with Young Jeezy. A DJ Mustard Collab would be great. Some Jazz/Hip Hop songs would be great along with like, one Jazz ballad. She did a great job creating great songs from every genre she's touched in the past and put them all in one album and have it flow so perfectly together. Hopefully she follows suit on her next album.

Mariah's Vegas show (52,803) by 123 from USA
I'm excited for this show. This will be her biggest performances in her career. Even bigger than her Adventures tour. This is a great time to be in Vegas. It seems like everything is popping down there. I can't wait to go in July. Its expected that she will have some lipped moments but as long as she mixes it up with great live vocals a la Beacon show or better she will kill it. She is looking really good lately and I hope she keeps it up. She has been everywhere being photographed with several single, successful, attractive men lately and she is looking really good. It seems like Vegas is doing her good. She better put her all in these shows and get plenty of vocal rest. I want to see her sprout wings, wear all the jewelry she owns, unicorns, and other spectacles. It would be great to see Bianca re-emerge for the Heartbreaker bit. I can't wait to hear what she does to those classics, I hope she gives them justice, they are her crown jewels.

Mayweather and Pacquiao fight (52,753) by 123 from USA
I hope Mariah goes to the fight. She said she wanted to attend. It would be nice press and cool to see her ringside.

Grand entrance / MIAMTEC mentions (52,594) by 123 from USA
Vegas really turned it out for her. 18 semi trucks with each number one on it, dancing kids to her classics, an announcer going over the stats of each song and the records she holds. I like how she was right behind the last hit and right on time for the festivities. I liked how close the fans could get to her and her whole Periscope deal, it was like you were riding along with her.

Re-Edit (52,592) by 123 from USA
Great re-edit. You actually gave the song proper structure. Even though I don't care for the song, your re-edit gives it s different feel.

LC (52,588) by 123 from USA
I voted for your essay. I hope you get the financing you need. That's been an issue for me as well. I have student loans that total up to a brand new luxury car. My only incentive to go to grad school is just to defer my payments. I might just take some online classes at my old community college because the cost is so inexpensive. With two degrees I don't feel like a third will really help but put me more in debt - lol.

I don't even know what to say (52,449) by 123 from USA
Licia, you're comment is spot on and you are one of the few that have the guts to be honest while remaining articulate. Abraham, I have a new found respect for you. I know everyone categorizes you as a positive lamb, but you are honest enough to give your opinion that the song isn't that great because you feel same among other fans that care about Mariah and her music. Shelly, I love you but you can't say people are not fans if they don't buy the song because they don't like it. You become just like the yes people that she has had around her. Stacey, you are one of my favorites but you and I know that Mariah was working her butt off to make ISB go number 1. She was everywhere promoting, multiple remixes and remix videos, which we know the remixes helped her songs in the later 90s songs go #1. Ardis, so someone is a hater because they don't love everything she releases? What does that make Andrew then because he gets like 1000 likes for his visceral comments? B, those vocals sound very processed. Compare them to Cry, they are overly processed. Better than anything on MOAIA? Not better than BGK, It's A Wrap, or Angels Cry. Definitely not better than Love Story, which I though was ok. Darryle, you are the one making yourself look like an ass, we are comparing a new song from a year ago, not 1993.

Infinity (52,300) by 123 from USA
So hmmm. She doesn't promote any of the gems on MIAMTEC. YDKWTD, Faded, Dedicated, Meteorite, and Supernatural and she releases this song? To add on a collection of classic, quality, number 1 songs? I want my 1.29 back. Who told her this would be a hit? Somebody lied, that is all I have to say. The madness needs to stop and someone needs to be honest in her camp and advise her what should be left on the cutting room floor. The mess that was The Art Of Letting Go was better than this song. When there is energy put into promoting a song it's always the wrong one while the gems she creates remain hidden. Everyone thinks she can't make great music anymore and when she releases mess like this, she proves people right.

Wagon (52,292) by 123 from USA
The only reasons why Mariah hasn't had a hit since TMB is because she bailed on her career after she got married. The label was undecisive as to what single to release next and without their star who would usually push for a song in particular like she did with Shake It Off, EMC2 died. Once she came back to work a single months later, the album lost steam and no one cared. So instead of really promoting one of the songs at every possible location, they dumped the whole album and released another one a little over a year later. Again she wasn't invested and thought the controversy of Obsessed would be enough to push it to number one. With only one performance prior to the album's release, it's no wonder that album failed too. Then LA left and there was no one there to push her product and since she was lax herself, her projects went nowhere. Now, she is back with Sony and LA. He is not playing around. All of this promo for this song, he is expecting her to come through and do her part. It can very well go number one. Everyone said the same thing about TEOM but she had the right songs and a big promo push from the label. As long as they have a good song, good promo, and Mariah finally gives a crap and puts effort into pushing this song and having great vocal performances, there is no reason why she shouldn't go number 1.

All Alone In Love / Billy from Greece (52,129) by 123 from USA
Billy from Greece, we seem to like a lot of the same stuff. I love that song. It is my favorite off her debut. After I bought Daydream and Butterfly I went back to get my hands on her old albums. This was the first non-single on that album that I loved. It was good enough to be a single. I know a lot of people love Vanishing and so do I, but "All alone in love" is so enchanting. You get sucked in by the melody, clever lyrics and her passionate singing by the end of the song. It was one of the few songs I felt might have come from a personal place of hers instead of a song that was dreamt up by her imagination. I also posted about the Stevie J I Still Believe Remix but no one responded. I loved how she re-wrote the lyrics, it was her peak on totally revamping a song from its original form.

Jojo - Far From Heaven (52,088) by 123 from USA
Jojo just released a new buzz song for her new album. I would love to hear Mariah do a ballad like this. Jojo makes a modern ballad that sounds timeless. She straight bodied the vocals. What do you think?

WBT baby remix (52,058) by 123 from USA
This has always been my favorite WBT remix. The new melody changes it to a sober like mood and gives the song, vocals, and lyrics more emotion. I hope that her Vegas shows reworks a lot of her more current songs to give them new life.

Hot Shake It Off Remix (52,057) by 123 from USA
I've never heard this. So smooth. I wouldn't mind her working with this remixer.
