MC is getting my praising for moving, looking good and of course singing. I hope she keeps that confidence. With her "manager" I don't know what to think. Mariah Christmas (78,804) by MusicfanJ from Germany I know it's a bit early but I'm already listening some MC Christmas songs. They just make me happy. I found this and can't believe that she looks exactly like in the Daydream era. Was it 2006? So beautiful. This is the look. Just wow. In Frankfurt it was completely sold out in 2 or 3 days. I also love the fan made videos from this tour. She was like an angel/princess that seemed not from this world. The Rainbow tour is special too. I like the colorful costumes and that she was making fun all the time. Bianca is legendary. (Friday 13 October 2017; 11:16)

We know "her" since so long and we know that she's more like what she and her management is creating lately. I mean the image and some strange actions. But of course she's only human. And I can imagine that it must be so hard to be compared with her prime all the time. At a certain level a star can only loose no matter what he or she has done and created. Mariah broke so many records, she's one of the few left global superstars. I just wish that she's happy inside. That she can enjoy her life, not only the success and fame. It makes me sad, that sometimes it seems that she's a lonely soul. She's given so much in her career, but true happiness is hard to find. I MC. (Thursday 12 October 2017; 15:45)

Yup, that's what I loved too. I hate that she's becoming one of those. It has nothing to do with age. I read an interview about Charlize Theron, she's nearly the same age. What a classy, beautiful woman. The twens are nothing compared to such a woman. She said she doesn't like the Hollywood red carpet things but it belongs to her job. A relaxed and healthy attitude. Re: Touring (78,659) (78,660) by MusicfanJ from Germany Completley agree with Mara. I also fear that she is getting burned out. Even when Mariah was 26 you could tell how hard all the touring is. And at that time she seemed very fit and she was so young. I think it's dangerous to live only for the money. Being well and healthy is so much more important. And I also agree that it seems like Mariah doesn't want to reflect her life and lifestyle. She's "running away" from something with all the work and you can already tell that it causes problems. It's one thing to stay with them privately (what I even don't get) but to work with people who seems like a living reality-show doesn't make sense. I always knew that she's a vulnerable one, also her outfits and videos were often "screaming". I do believe Lady Gaga is a smart and nice person. I hope she gets well soon. It's the music and especially the lyrics that show the human behind the created diva persona. Sadly most of the people out there have no idea that she wrote those beautiful and meaningful songs. And I agree with the reality show stuff. I never liked those shows, it's mostly stupid, bad and cheap entertainment. MC doesn't need this tv-format. But it's true around Christmas, Mariah is really loved and appreciated. Back then I had to borrow the "Merry Christmas" cd to a lot of friends. And they still love the Christmas album. And how I the lyrics "Although that knife was shipping away at me, they turned their eyes away and went home to sleep." The song is like a poem. And when "Rainbow Interlude" follows it's so wonderful and perfect, like at the end everything will be fine. I miss that type of songs from Mariah. I can only imagine how hard it is for a sensitive person to stay in that business so long. The fame, the fake people, the high expectations because she's is the one and only Mariah Carey. Like you said I hope she finds happiness again and something new where she can live her creativity and talent. I'm very thankful for all she's given us since '90 as well. She almost feels like a "friend" that's why I care so much of her as a person not only the singer. And so many great singers and entertainers has fallen so hard, it's enough. So sweet when she does the little moves. It is just authentic, and that's what I miss the most lately. But Bryan really seems to be the closest for the moment, but if that is helpful? We'll see. Standing there with her beauty and gorgous aura with the voice of an angel was more than enough. I remember when Britney came out as a teen star. I thought, poor girl she needs to dance all the time because she can't sing. Lol. A lot of entertainers need a big show and it's ok and can be fun. But Mariah was a wonder just to look at her and her the beautiful voice. I've seen her live on tour three times, and the moments where it was quiet and she was just "standing there" were the best. She needs a magic back, her MC style and most of all her confidence. She was always shy, but she rocked so many times with it. (Thursday 21 September 2017; 11:15)

Re: VH1 (78,455) (78,461) by MusicfanJ from Germany Completley agree with Bliss. I just watched the performance and my first thought was, it seems that she isn't able to move. Not natural at all. It looks more like that than laziness. Who knows what's really going on? After her shoulder injury she seemed to have lost her confidence and won't move live on stage anymore. I do think it's a combination of private problems (the divorce, maybe medication and so on) and real health issues. The show concept with the helicopter and jet ski was nice. But she clearly isn't herself since a while. And nobody seems to help her or even try. A second breakdown could be worse than the first. She has given so much with her music, she deserves to be happy and loved. I think she's heartbroken plus the health issues. But what can we fans do? I'm hoping the best for her, I MC. I don't know what happened that so many things has become "questionable". And I'm on a point where I'm not sure if I want to know it. There's much pain inside of her, she's still hiding. I mean it's cool to have a "Christmas show" and the Las Vegas shows (because she could stay at one place) but she needs time to get her energy and spirit back. As an artist and musician she's not only a "working machine". She needs free time to get new ideas and I'm not talking about a perfume. MIAMTEC can't be the last album. But yes, it feels like she's tired of releasing an complete album. But I won't give up hope that there'll be another masterpiece. The reality is, it will take a long time, if she keeps her unprofessional management and lifestyle. But I'll wait for Butterfly 2.0. (Monday 18 September 2017; 19:35)

Butterfly - the videos (78,391) by MusicfanJ from Germany I was watching all the videos of the album and like Mara and others said, it's just pure and beautiful art. It was a time where videos had class, style and sometimes even a little message. They definitely all had a story. Maybe the celebration of "Butterfly" reminds Mariah that she's not only a living legend and a famous diva, she is a true artist. A musical genius, in 97 everyone with taste could see it. I know it's not realistic but I love the thought. Imagine this, Mariah would hear that her true fans/lambs made "Butterfly" number one. Usually that happens when the artist is g. (I won't say it). Hmm I hope Mariah knows how this record is loved and appreciated by those who counts. Her songwriting and voice on that album is pure perfection, pure emotion and 100% MC.
