Mariah's career (70,525)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
| |
|
|
I'm afraid that if Mariah doesn't do something dratically, her career might be over. So here are my thoughts on what Mariah should do. Mariah should take a year off so she can: 1. Fire Stella and her entire family. 2. Go to rehab. 3. Exercise, so she gets in top physical form. 4. Remove all the implants. 5. Change her hair to the original colour and style. 6. Ditch the stiletto's, so she can walk on her own. 7. Take vocal lessons. 8. Send her children to school. 9. Record a killer album. 10. Hire a professional team (management and stylists). 11. Learn how to tell time, so she won't be late for everything. 12. Drop all the diva antics. 13. Learn how to be humble again. Have I forgotten something?

NYE performance (70,523)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands
| |
|
|
When I woke up this morning, I was excited to see Mariah's performance in New York (there is a time difference of 6 hours here in the Netherlands, something Stella probably doesn't know). But then I started reading all your messages and read the news and I became terrified. I still can't watch the performance, not even with the sound off. But some of the Twitter messages were very funny, like: "After that performance, Mariah Carey should be required to perform at the Trump Inaugural."

Yes, he is. But if I remember correctly, he wanted Mariah to support him financially with some kind of foundation and got mad when he never heard of her. After that he got really nasty and I had to ban him.

Fur coat? (70,355)

Am I correct that Mariah promotes a fur coat? If so, I'm disgusted by her and I don't know if I can support her any longer.

In the New York Magazine article, they called Stella "Leech of the Year". Stella has another magazine to sue. The article ends with: "All I ask is that you please ask Santa to bring a story line that revolves around Mariah next year and not the degenerate company she keeps."

Re: 1969 or 1970? (69,867) (69,868)
by Webmaster Eric from the Netherlands

According to People magazine, Mariah was actually born in 1969. In response to fan inquiries about the correct date, a spokesperson of the magazine issued a statement, "We have a copy of Ms. Carey's driver's license, which lists her birthday as March 27, 1969. Furthermore, we spoke with the administrators at the high school she attended who confirmed that Ms. Carey's birthday is March 27, 1969, as did her management when we made our initial interview." A reason why the executives could have changed her birthyear was to make Mariah look younger. After all, when you say someone is born in the 1960's, he or she looks much older than someone who was born in the 1970's. Even if there is only a year difference.

Remember this? Page Six relays the aggressive response given to them by Mariah's manager Stella Bulochnikow in regards to the insider's disclosure, and her words clearly solidify the fact that she is quite aggressive and steadfast in her decisions. Additionally, she comes across just a touch unprofessional. "If you're trying to get into my good graces, you're doing a wonderful job. Feel free to write whatever the f--k you want, so all three of your readers can be amused. F--k off and lose my number. You are an idiot. Mariah is on fire."

You made me laugh when you said "best offers". $110 for a tour program? $417 for a signed poster? $570 for a signed CD? But the best is: $445 for three CD's which you buy in any shop for less than $30.

I really hope Mariah releases one of her best albums and promotes the hell out of it, but that the album flops anyway. I know this sounds strange from one of her biggest fans for the last 22 years, but I'm afraid that is the only way Mariah wakes up and wonders what went wrong. Maybe only then she realizes she's not relatable anymore and that's why she lost so many fans. She still says her fans are important to her, but I really doubt that. On another note, maybe if Mariah would support some charity the way Sting, Bono and Princess Diana did (and by that I mean not only accepting some award but travelling around the world and talking to world leaders about rain forests, landmines etc), without personal gain, maybe then Mariah would be liked more by the general public. Mariah has already enough money to live luxerous for the rest of her life, so not everything she does has to be for money.

I have no idea. Prince also didn't like fansites. Maybe because I publish all news and not only the news approved by Mariah's team. A couple of years ago, fansites were forced to only publish news from the official website or else they would be blacklisted. That's when Mariah Daily started publishing less and less news. The official website nowadays is a joke (in 2010 there were 365 articles, in 2015 only 51 articles and this year only 7).
