I've listened to A.K.A. once. I won't isten to it again. Mariah needs much more stronger promotion and guidance or mentoring. She is achieving best commercially and artistically hen she has some strong father figure nearby and there is no leach trying to get all the attention. Not so many people believed in her before The Emancipation. P.S. I hope one day she will explain what exactly happened between her and her previous label during the time MIAM was released. I understand her struggles with the label and Tommy. I have just finished reading Hitmaker: The Man and His Music. It's just like what Cory Rooney said in the article about Mariah's collaborators: "Mary doesn't have to sell 28 million records to be respected - people respect Mary, and I just want to be respected like her." And I realized the extent of damage made to George Michael's career by the suits in Sony. That he wanted to be an artist, not an asset. The same thing happened to Mariah after divorce with Tommy.
