About Dennis from Underneath the Stars: There's got to be a way...

Re: Mariah mentioned in lyrics (60,032) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
Without your voice:
"Always a complete Greek in my good government
I am not a new rich, I am former poor
You know my name, I'm rising like Mariah Carey
I'm always running around in circles, I deserve to settle down"
The song is dedicated to his mother. Something like that. Francophones please correct me if I'm wrong.

Mariah mentioned in lyrics (60,025) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
I've been listening to La Fouine track Sans Ta Voix. He is mentioning Mariah in the second verse.

Migrate feat. T-Pain
IKWYW with Busta Rhymes - I think most of young non-lambs in my country know MC only by this song.
Underneath The Stars (Drifting Remix) - It reminds me of The Roof a lot and has the same dark mood.

How much (59,797) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
Had Mariah released How Much, there would be no Bonnie and Clyde 03 by Beyonce.

Wendy Williams (54,951) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
It's bizarre how Wendy always makes up names for Dembabies. Monrocan. I can't believe that she can't remember the names or that the "lambs" from her crew can't correct her.

Languishing (54,713) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
Top 5 songwriting:
1. Languishing (always gives me goosebumps when I hear the bridge)
2. VOL
3. Camouflage
4. Close My Eyes
5. I Wish You Well
I'm always listening to those when I'm sad or powerless.
Top 5 vocals:
1. VOL
2. Without You
3. Cry
4. AYNAF
5. My All
Anyway I can't decide with the list. It's changing over the time.

Merry Christmas re-release (53,950) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
MC was tweeting about Idina Menzel and she is such a huge fan of Frozen, either dem Babies. I'm sure there will be some form of collabo with someone from Frozen cast (few years ago there were talks about re-release and a duet with Olaf). It might be quite interesting.

ktktkt (53,668) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
It's taken from the Georgian version of Your Face Sounds Familiar franchise. On a side note. Similar number was done on the Russian version, the only difference was that Whitney was the hologram. The Russian girl who did that is a close friend of Walter A., it's quite possible they've had a fling.

Sag mir wo die likes sind? (52,540) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
I noticed that number of likes for my favorite members is decreasing after updates. I'm confused.

Criticizing vs liking (52,530) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
It doesn't matter if you critisize or like the song. It is important to be honest and mean what you say. We are here to share opinions, aren't we? Howevet trolling other fans is different. If someone is only criticizing is his/her opinion balanced and credible?

Something's got to give (52,527) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
To me Infinity is like an end of one era (relationship with label and Thirsty). And who knows what future holds, but I'm sure there will be more eras. Last year everyone was saying that she desperately needs some changes. There's a change. Emrace it. Nothing is permanent. Mariah is evolving, her priorities have changed. Let's see what that change will bring to us, fans.

I like it (52,523) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
Song is what she needed. Period. Just different from her previous material. Waiting for the dentist and listening to it for the first, second and third time.

Andrew, I just can't live it like that (52,437) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
It was funny to mention straight men. I don't think the are listening to Beyonce, Rihanna or JLo. They are mostly watching. And here comes the video which I'm sure will be sexy. MC still got it unlike Madonna in her 40's. "Straight guys" at my work noticed the single cover. When I lived in university campus straight guys looking through my CDs always stuck at the #1's or Rainbow. I recall what Coldplay were saying back in 2005 about her boobs.

Mariah on the message board (52,041) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
I wonder, does real Mariah have time to read or even to write on this message board? Whom she would be? Baby, you make me so confused, is it you? Janet spent months on forums during recording of Velvet Rope.

SIO (52,039) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
During TEOM era Mariah didn't sell as good as other artists in terms of digital singles. Kanye was huge that year. Gold Digger was downloaded 200-400k per week. SOI could't compete with that. It was mostly airplay single. About the radio, during Charmbracelet they used to talk the same. Radio is no longer supportive for the 90's divas.

Christmas movie (51,209) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
It looks like the idea of the Broadway musical transformed into a movie. She's been twittering about Menzel. Epic wants to release one more Christmas album. And I remember she was supposed to release a duet with Olaf from Frozen. Mariah for sure has more unreleased Christmas songs. It should be interesting.

Happy anniversary Mariah. I love you and allways will. Be happy with your children.

Press (50,975) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
Press is very judgemental. Somehow "crazy Mariah" prevails in press. Especially after her second marriage. Outsiders believe that was something more suitable for Britney. Since that time public reaction was mostly indiferrent if not worse. If she wins over press she would get everything back. It's a question of time and effort. Regarding glove and weight gain, she had a serious injury. If a nerve was damaged the effect will be painful and longlasting. For years. And during recovery she for sure could't do weight, or any other exercises actually. Just try to live your normal life for a few hours without using any hand.

Letting go ain't easy (50,970) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
We all understand that it is impossble "to pose it and make it stay". Thanks to her unfair contract with Sony we have 9 albums from the 90s. Not like many other artists, like Janet or Sade, who had 3 albums in a decade. There is enough material for nostalgia. Anyway, for me MIAM is back to 90's Mariah. Vegas anxiety. Everything is what it is. Not as bad, not as good. I'll wait and see. It is less consuming than guess.

Almost home (50,968) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
I'm in China since December. YouTube and some Google services are banned. So I cannot watch all those videos and I cannot change my ip for another country for some reason. I can't wait to be able to see and to hear her recent performances.

Andrew (50,967) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
I agree for 100% about #1s. I'd prefer her music to be great and I'd like Mariah to be honest to herself and do what she really likes not trying to fit in. And I still believe this is not the end of the road. MOIA era was much worse. I hope she will do less movies and more music. A good song could be written in a few hours. It can be polished for months. Or it could be more time consuming. But if it's good it will catch up with a listener and will live a long life. A movie is different. In a song the singer is revealing oneself somehow, but in a movie an actor is pretending to be somebody else. I know it sounds stupid, but I prefer music over movies. Music is more honest. In 3-4 minutes there is no less emotions and life than in a 90 min movie. I hope MC will do less movies and more music.

Andrew (50,918) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
Your posts are hilarious. You're like the Kai boy from an Andersen's fairytale. You see everything distorted and ugly.

My name is Dita (50,913) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
As a former Madonna fan I can tell you that she had mentioned many times that she was jealous of MJ or any other famous man in the industry. I can't see passion in what she does. She is a good businesswoman, with intuition. To me Janet was and still is a "truer" artist than Madge. Remember Madge flashing her nipple in Istanbul or her behind on some other date. That was a real artistic statement. Madonna also talks the same old stuff in her interviews. And she is more afraid of aging. But lets be honest, most of us are. By the way, Madge hadn't toured much between 1993 and 2001. Her first tour of the millennium was Drowned World (when she was 42 already). It was not so visual as her later tours. Regarding bipolar, many people surrounding us have it. Maybe MC has a middle age crisis. That is normal. She will overcome it. She transformed before already. And I wish her another successful change.

MC as a gay icon (50,880) by Dennis from Underneath the Stars
I think she started to embrace the LGBT community after her divorce, especially starting during the Charmbracelet era. She is more like "gay friendly" than "activist". IMO she's not like Lisa Minelli or Cher or Gaga. But I like her songs and that is more than enough. Remember in Mean Girls there was her poster with CTTA in the room of the LGBT character?
