About 123 from USA:

Re: Hoping for work on new album in 2020 (91,835) (91,840) by 123 from USA
I liked the YouTube Q and A. I was surprised that she is in fact already planning new music. I figured it she might not really be into doing another album when the label let the last one die quickly but sending her singles to one or two small radio formats (nothing screams like aging has been that the label doesn’t believe in than adult ac only releases). I was surprised that she shared she had two males in mind that she spoke over the phone with to do collaborations with. I think this new career peak and awesome execution from her new team put some fire under her to try again. I just hope the labels pick the right singles and sends them to all formats, maybe a hot feature with a big artist of the day may be her way of pushing them to do it.

Re: Amazon mini doc (91,597) (91,612) by 123 from USA
There won't be another Walter collabo. He went to the press last Christmas stating Mariah is trying to erase him from history when it come to AIW. He's like I co-wrote the song, yet she clarified before that she wrote the song but shared credits with him as this is a common practice in the music industry among collaborators so that everyone gets a check. He cried about her not approving the song to be licensed as much as he would like and said he expected her to reach out to him eventually to do something for the anniversary. He's a pompous jerk. Why can't he reach out if he wants to be involved? He has dissed AIW in many interviews saying "it's not my favorite song I wrote" and also dissed the melodic structure saying it was basic and feared "real" musicians would diss it which is another swipe at her musicality as we all know she came up with it on her Casio keyboard. So you diss the song lyrics and melody but are mad when she doesn't reference you even though you didn't have much to do with it and are still getting 50% of the profits each year.

Here is a page someone made with tips and tricks fans can do to help that chart position. It includes an international lamb section so their efforts count.

Re: AIWFCIY live at Tokyo Dome (91,514) (91,517) by 123 from USA
Hopefully for Daydream's 25th we will finally get the UTS video. Even though it's just a live concert performance and probably won't differ much from the Tokyo Dome performance it would still be cool to see. A re-release would be cool with the addition of Slipping Away and the "Crave" song we heard about. I wonder if she did a decent vocal reference. Would love to hear her versions but we all know she hates playing poor quality versions a la the demo she confirmed via the Genius interview last year.

Bill you are def not one of the three. You’re joke was not with ill intent. I thought it was funny and light hearted. We all joke within reason except the few trolls that post malicious comments wrapped up in comedy.

Re: St John the Divine (91,231) (91,238) by 123 from USA
I see the racist from the UK and Edward are working together again to belittle the St Johns concert audio. I'm sure the 3rd of your clique will follow predictably. Everyone except for you trolls love the audio and the fact that it wasn't dubbed to perfection gives it the live feel we all wanted but didn't expect. It's sad that you all have nothing else going on in your lives to entertain you other than posting bait for likes. I see Edwards response to the racist basically agreeing that the audio was less than amazing with all the likes proves my point.

Eddie I just call em as I see em. You three like to gang up on the zealot posters here because you find them easy targets but people can say some scathing things about Mariah or make racial "jokes" and no one bats an eye because they are fans of the vitrol comments because they get a lot of likes. I hit dog will holler.

Looks like the three means girls have reunited. Ugh. Looks like it’s trash day, get rid of it before the garbage truck rolls by.

Re: Merry a Christmas St Johns performances (90,900) by 123 from USA
If her team is on the ball, they will submit the video format of the concert for a Netflix special during or after thanksgiving. It would be massive. Gaga had her documentary, Beyoncé had her cochella performance, but classic Christmas Mariah performances at her peak would really get a bunch of clicks and more interest in purchasing the deluxe version. Maybe even have an advert of the audio being available on the deluxe before and after the concert footage. It has tons of replay value because a documentary or performance you can watch once and forget about it, but a Christmas concert will rise again in views the following year, just like the music. My thoughts.

Mariah bikini pic / in the mix (90,754) by 123 from USA
She looks really good in this pic. We haven’t gotten a new bikini shot in years. Looks like a mixture of dieting and maybe some cool sculpting. This looks like a good balanced body. Not too thin, kind of reminds me of her 2007 body where they caught her in the beach topless. Maybe she is preparing to film a video for in the mix. When does the new song premiere?

Re: Article: Anitta shares inspiring story after Mariah follows her (90,659) (90,665) by 123 from USA
I liked Mariah's response to her. It was very kind and genuine. In recent years she has acknowledged and gave love to young female artists via social media, which I think is cool.

Re: Tommy cried to Beautiful Ones (90,599) (90,608) by 123 from USA
Originally I thought it might had been somebody from Dru Hill or even Prince. I would have never thought it was Devante from Jodeci. Sisqo said Devante produced the song but I believe Corey Rooney is shown as the producer. Interesting.

Dev Hynes on working with Mariah in the studio (90,593) by 123 from USA
I love it when other producers/songwriters talk about her songwriting/producing talent/genius. He really has a lot to respect for her. They seem pretty close now and I feel like he might be at the helm of a lot of songs on her next album. It makes sense since he was in her insta stuff.

Re: MC video in Aspen (90,584) (90,592) by 123 from USA
I think she is talking about her younger nephew Michael that barely gets mentioned. The one that Patricia never returned after a weekend visit.

Tommy cried to Beautiful Ones (90,586) by 123 from USA
Sisqo gave some tea, this is the kind of stuff that needs to be in the book. Tommy crying in the studio and the elusive Devante from Jodeci doing the speaking part. How did Mariah swing that one.

Re: Old Town Road (90,467) (90,468) by 123 from USA
OTR is a novelty song like Macarena and I like both. OTR is a fun song and blends two of musics most profitable genres in the US (Country/Hip Hop). I love the blending and I'm sure we will start to hear more releases soon in the same vein. On the topic of it dethroning OSD. Streaming made this possible. You can't compare the two because OSD made it on radio play, single sales (people had to get in their car to purchase and pick up the phone to request), and no remixes to add to the count. This is why Mariah is unbothered by it. Her record is pre digital era, so if she really wanted to her team can still claim "the longest running number 1 in the pre-digital era". So he can have it in her mind, she knows that streaming will help AIWFCIY reach the elusive #1, set new records for her, add to her #1 count as an overall artist, female, songwriter, and producer. She holds a bunch of other records, what's losing some when she can potentially gain new ones. Longest trek to number 1 from its original release date (1994), I like the sound of that.

Re: Why (88,721) (88,742) by 123 from USA
But Randy there isn't much else she can do this go round now can she? Most artists don't get residuals when they were in their heyday. They usually die broke. She's got money because she wrote 17 number 1 singles so songwriters will always have royalties paid out. Back to my first sentence. The label isn't supporting her or investing much into her project. They released a buzz single with a budget conscious video instead of being bold and sending the song to (caps) all radio formats, especially when it started to become a meme. Then they decide to do instant grats and release half the album to get the young streaming markets attention and that didn't work because kids only stream what's popular and on trend and she is neither unless it's Christmas. All her other projects she didn't promote much and had poor roll outs so retailers understocked her cd and anyone that does buy her music buys the cd and since it's not stocked she was never going to have a big first week sales. Then the label finally decides to release With You and only sends its to AC stations. No pop, not top 40. That had to be a bitter pill for her to swallow. Can you image being used to having your song sent to all formats only to find out the label is putting you out to pasture on AC only. It's got tax write off written all over the project. She already had these concerts lined up but I was proud that she at least promoted the heck out of it for the little free time she had with good performances and insightful interviews. Jennifer Lopez is on Epic as well but they dump tons of money her way on big budget videos and A list collabs like Cardi on Dinero yet she keeps flopping. She's releasing another single and the label paid for French on that one. A No No at least got sent to urban which is her only chance in hell at garnering a decent hit and it's already gaining spins but she needs the label to send it to pop and top 40. If it's not a big enough hit on urban to cross over the era is done. You see she wanted Cardi and Kim and the label only bothered to pay for Stefflon Don and even did a crappy version of a remix. If I were her I'd tour too at least to make some kind of money at this point. At least the tour isn't a rehash and worth attending. Just my thoughts.

A No No video (88,377) by 123 from USA
I'm baaaaaaaack. It's cute, simple, and at least they could afford some extras on the shoe string budget the label seems to be giving her these days.

Re: Hot 100 #14 (86,835) (86,841) by 123 from USA
I don't find it sad at all. She had an amazing chart run that most artists would envy. How many artists can say they had #1 records spanning 2 decades? If she manages to chart again with new material I'd be happy for her but anything at this point is icing on the cake to a career that no one could dream up.

Re: Norway show (86,828) (86,833) by 123 from USA
She sounds really good. These are her best vocals all year. I was a big worried after a year of blah vocals that her Christmas shows were going to be a let down. Her outfits are forgivable as long as she isn't in a body suit singing Silent Night like the year Beyoncé came to see one of her shows.

Bill from the UK. Your response is hilarious. I love your shameless admittance to interloping in others affairs as a best trait. Please continue to show your unapologetic humor on the board.
