Mariah isn't talked about in those circles when great songwriters/producers are mentioned, and I'm sorry one award three decades later isn't enough, Mariah deserves 10 other prestigious "icon" songwriting/producers awards. Mariah has won so many songwriting awards but they weren't televised not that nobody really watches those anyways, like the fact that she has over 33 BMI awards for songwriting. I mean this imperfect angel is unbelievably successful yet it don't compare to her talents, A gracious musical genius who devoted her life to her music and her fans. She is a real life Barbie, has an overly girly persona, she is so sexy and she knows it, a person of faith. Many people can't handle a women who dares to speak up, knows what she wants and who likes to be in control. History has shows that usually has insecure men bothered. The critics now mostly resort to baseless accusations and try to go after her character when so many from the industry and not just the stars has said she is one of the nicest people in the industry.
