About MIAM from USA: I'm a lamb.

Article: Sigala set to collaborate with Mariah Carey (72,909) by MIAM from USA
I don't know who this guy is but he seems delusional. Why would he publicly say that people supposedly think the Jackson 5's ABC is not as good as his version? That's absurd. Second, he basically stole Mariah's music and he's gonna be rewarded for that? That is complete nonsense. Mariah would never do EDM anyway so I don't believe this to be true. There's no decent reason for any of this and he seems annoying to be quite honest.

Adele's music isn't something special that people have chosen to gravitate to, she's literally making r&b/pop music which had been done a million times over. She's a white woman singing this and therefore she'll get much more attention than a Ledisi or Jill Scott for example (those women have much better voices too). It is the same case for Amy Winehouse, people treated her like she was Aretha; it is what happens when you're white in this industry.

Re: Finally able to speak (72,902) (72,907) by MIAM from USA
Mariah did not complain because she lost, she has lost plenty of awards over the years. It was about the fact that she had the biggest song and album of the year and she was completely snubbed. You cannot tell me Alanis had a more impactful song/album when we don't even remember it but we remember Daydream, we remember One Sweet Day. This is a common thing that is done to black artists; they achieve immense success but are frequently undercut by white artists. Do not chalk this up to "bratty behavior" when it is much greater than that, stop.

You're actually making a lot of defamatory remarks here, I'm surprised you're claiming to be a lamb with that kind of rhetoric. I'm not even going to address the comments you made about her "waning" voice and that she does supposedly "doesn't bring much to the table anymore" because you and I both know that's insulting and disrespectful. What is more alarming is that you think she cannot be the type of artist to speak her mind and risk it all because of what she believes in. Those characteristics are not reserved for just Prince and Muhammad Ali, she can speak on it too. She's been in the business for nearly 30 years and we can count on our hands the amount of times she has been blunt, she's always bit her tongue. However, that does not mean she has to remain that way. She's not concerned with appeasing the masses anymore because they have continued to disparage and attack her anyway so why should she keep quiet when she's feeling a certain way? In fact, I think she's been exceptionally gracious given the amount of attacks she's been on the other end of lately. She never lashes out or argues, she literally made an honest remark and did so with a joke and a smile. If you can't handle that, then move along.
