For instance, the VH1 duet of "With You I'm Born Again" with John Legend was taped 3 times, I know because I was in the audience. The woman performed one song, but she delivered it live. Just like The Celebration of Mimi in Vegas (except for a couple of adlibs here and there). I'm afraid MC is not singing live again (at least for a while). The quality of her voice has worsened considerably in the past couple years, and live on stage is where she feels most stressed and insecure about it. So now she just plays it safe by rerecording everything in her current voice and having improved the lipping technique. At least we can enjoy lots of new vocals recorded in a studio. Reminds me of years back when she started crying during a performance of Outside (I believe; she was wearing black feathers and had just had that accident on the set of the #Beautiful remix video set), or when she cried at the Christmas concert when her and Nick were breaking up. At least we know she's singing live, but it was hard watching the backup singers and band keep looping back waiting for her to jump back in. I wonder if all the focus and discussion on Celine's struggle with her voice and illness is making Mimi reflect on her own vocal aging. Christmas shows (107,177) by Joachim Agerup Løkkevik from Norway I attended the Charmbracelet tour in London in 2003 right before Halloween, and this year I'm actually planning on going back and see her Christmas shows I'm currently hospitalized for depression with previous suicidal thoughts for the second time since 2009. If it hadn't been for my mobile phone and YouTube and the existence of Mariah Carey, I wouldn't have survived. I have to thank Mariah again for saving my life, thank you Mariah. Every now and then I happen to be with my nephew, who is 11 years old, and I have no idea of what he's singing along to. He then tells me the name of the artist or group and nothing to me. She says "He's all up in my George Foreman." Then there's some more singing and then she repeats "He's all up in my George Foreman." And she starts "But I-' I can't for the life of me figure out what she's saying. It's before she says "You like me. You like me. You really really like me" as the song fades.
