Wouldn't it be better to just record in the studio and not tour? She really needs to follow Linda Ronstadt's lead and stop doing live shows if she's only capable of a few minutes of live vocals. You can look at Mariah and tell that her heart isn't in it - there's no perspiration coming off of her, she's hardly moving, doesn't look winded at all. Whitney sounded awful during her last major tour (and really should not have done the tour) but at least Whitney sang mostly live. (Monday 15 April 2024; 16:35)

New single (106,092) by Shezz from Pk The fan account did say the next day it was an April Fools thing. The insider account says she is set to make her long awaited come back this month. I hope that means a single, not her Vegas residency because she has been performing. Also, the insider says MC16 is a return to pop for MC with a lot of uptempo, disco and euro dance numbers. I hope that's true. She's not gotten anywhere with her midtempo RnB for a while now. Butterfly Lounge on the other hand is a total jazz project. How exciting is that? Her nerves along with the inconsistency of her voice has has caused her to lean on prerecorded vocal tracks. I just want more movement from her if she's going lip sync. In hindsight, with the lack of commercial success she's had since (except Christmas), one really can look back at the mistakes made like not releasing Migrate as the second single and think it was her last big change at commercial dominance. Would've a re-release like she did with TEOM made a big difference? Would it have sparked new life for the album? Imagine Obsessed was the fourth single from a repackaged album. Andrew wrote Music Box is like a blockbuster, I love the comparison. It's true, it's her blockbuster. The album that changed everything. Mariah knows it and hasn't forget it. MB30 reaction (103,373) by BFF from United States "My Prayer" brought tears to my eyes when I heard it. Such a gorgeous rendition and somewhat left field for Mariah in terms of covers. More evidence that Mariah needs to put together a "cover songs" compilation album. She's done so many great ones, and it would be nice to have them all in one place. "Workin' Hard" is better than either of the Cole + Cliviles tracks on the original album. I can totally understand why Mariah's message on Twitter says she's looking back with a bit of regret on this album... because "My Prayer," "Workin' Hard", "All I Live For", "Everything Fades Away", and "Do You Think of Me" are all better than songs that made the final track list. I would have left off "Just to Hold You Once Again", "I've Been Thinking About You", and "All I've Ever Wanted" to make room for unreleased songs and b-sides if there was a concern that the album would be too long. I would put it at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London (where Beyonce just performed and Jay-Z is now rumoured to want to buy) and livestream it around the world. 60,000 people for 2 nights is perfectly doable. Not just Christmas songs, but obviously featured. That would make headlines, especially if, as looks possibly, Jay-Z would own be the stadium's owner. 2. I would have a list of support acts longer than my arm so that the entertainment was 6 hours long. And they would be acts from Mariah’s career: Westlife, Busta Rhymes, etc. Finishing with Mariah for 2 hours in a massive professional production culminating in the biggest firework display this side of the Big Bang. 3. I would use these stadium concerts to lead to a Rarities 2 release and promo in January 2025 the imagery from which I would use to promote Mariah headlining the Glastonbury Festival Legends Sunday in June 2025 (that Elton John smashed this year). 4. This would be a precursor to a 2-Year Global Farewell Tour which would begin on October 03 2025 to celebrate Daydream 30 and finish September 10 2027 with the final concert in Madison Square Garden to commemorate Butterfly 30. 5. The tour would cover each continent and take in main arenas but have smaller outdoor concerts in famous worldwide locations: Place de la Concorde, the Colloseum, the Parthenon, Cristo Redemptor, Machu Pichu, the Griffith Observator - possibilities are extraordinary - and what a famous farewell tour it would be.
