Article: Mariah Carey performs in final Las Vegas residency show (77,347) by Adam from US I saw the real pictures online and the person claimed these are fake. I sure hope so. Jeez, these are bad. Article: Mariah Carey on shopping trip in Barcelona (76,490) by Adam from US It is so hard to see this happening to someone like Mariah. What the hell happened? No, she doesn't need to be skinny, but she needs to take care of herself. It seems to me, her voice isn't as good when she's heavier. She's beautiful no matter what, but lately her outfits have been pretty bad. I still think Stella is partly to blame. Mariah needs to wake up and get real people behind her. Someone that can say no some times. That's what happened in 2005, LA Reid told her to go back and make better music and her and JD came back with "We Belong Together" and the rest is history. It is sad to see this living legend demolishing everything she worked her ass off for. I have been finding it harder and harder to take up for her anymore. Come back MC. We all miss you. I have always been a huge fan, but I swear, I am finding myself less and less interested anymore. It isn't about the music - and the music can still be great (ie "Faded"... well, basically that whole album). Article: Mariah Carey launches Butterfly MC Records (74,401) by Adam from US As much love and respect as I have for Mariah, Butterfly MC Records is a horrible name for a record company. If I was wanting a label to sign me, I'd skip over it simply because of the name. How can anyone take Butterfly MC Records seriously? This whole era is a mess still. "Me. I Am Mariah" was such a masterpiece that didn't get 5% of the credit it deserved. "Mariah's World" was enjoyable for me as a fan, but as a lamb, it did nothing for me. If Stella is truly behind this mess, lose her. If she did dump Bryan to focus more on family music, she needs to continue dumping people and get people who are really there for Mariah and not themselves. Mariah is a living legend and it is sad to see the mockery she is becoming - possibly because of Stella. I hope she gets it together. (Tuesday 11 April 2017; 17:10)

Article: Mariah Carey helps Remy Ma get revenge on Nicki Minaj (73,912) by Adam from US I am a huge MC fan, and also really enjoy Remy Ma. I've liked Remy Ma since her first album. But this did nothing for me. They should have changed it up some, changed the music, the YG rap - something. They had yet another chance to do something really great and they didn't. They could have shot a video, too. Would have been really cool. But this fell flat for me. (Friday 24 March 2017; 14:18)

Article: Mariah Carey may be dropped by Epic Records (73,284) by Adam from US This is just sad. If this is true and Stella really is doing all of this, Mariah needs to wake up and see it. Trouble finding CD (53,508) by Adam from US So, the CD was released today, but I went to Walmart to buy it (I pre-ordered it, too) and I searched the whole department. I couldn't find it. I asked someone, told them CDs usually come out tomorrow, but Mariah Carey's was released today. She told me Walmart won't stock a CD until midnight today, no matter when the release date was, today or tomorrow. So, I left empty handed. I will be going to Best Buy tomorrow to buy my copy. I also received an email stating something in the pre-order wasn't available, but my order shipped and will be here Wednesday, so I don't know what that's about. However, I thought with pre-orders, you got them the day it was released. Sure Wednesday is around the corner, but still. Anyone else having trouble with this? (Tuesday 19 May 2015; 3:06)

Top 5 - Badr (44,768) by Adam from US I really do love this album. I liked Badr's post about Top 5. So I thought I'd post my top 5. 5) "Thirsty" 4) "Meteorite" 3) "Make It Look Good" 2) "You Don't Know What To Do" 1) "Faded" It's hard to have a top 5 right now, because I still really enjoy them all. I am not a huge fan of "One More Try", but it's not Mariah, I never really cared for the original. The only song that I've skipped and not listened to has been "Camouflage" and I don't know why. I think I've been too upbeat listening to the others, lol. I really do wish they'd release a single. It needs something to make people buy it. (Sunday 15 June 2014; 13:57)

Just my thoughts (44,607) by Adam from US I agree with post 44,601. I do think sales are not all of it. But they go hand in hand. I want Mariah to sell millions and have #1's because I'm a fan and I believe she deserves it. I really love this album and I'm completely upset it's not doing better. And I'm upset at the lack of promotion. I love that Mariah gave us this album, but there's not anything wrong with wanting her to hit #1 either. I just don't really understand what's going on. I don't know why the label or Mariah didn't release a single before releasing the album. To get the hype going. And I don't think they shipped many copies. My local Walmart had 8. And then I bought 2. I went back the other day and 1 was left. Target had 2 stacks and I bought 2 Target Editions and there's 1 left a couple days ago and 4 regular left. A huge music store in Charlotte only had 7 left the week of release. But at all of these places, there was no and I mean none promotion at all. No signs. No posters. Nothing. Even at Walmart there's a place upfront where new music is at and Mariah wasn't there. Miranda Lambert is all over it this week. Something just isn't right. I have now bought 7 copies all on separate receipts. I just don't know. I'm annoyed. (Tuesday 10 June 2014; 14:10)

My part (44,239) by Adam from US New member here. I feel like I've done my part. I've promoted Mariah on Facebook. At work. To my friends, family. I have downloaded the deluxe version. Bought the Target edition. Bought physical copies of the explicit deluxe and regular and the clean deluxe and regular. So, I've spent roughly $98 on her CDs. Which is a lot. Granted, not the $1,200 the fan spent on the plane ticket. I'm very disappointed Billboard says her sales are expected to be 65,000 or so. WTF? Has an album ever been that low in sales? Her MCIIY sold 56,000 but that's a holiday album. I am shocked at this low number. I felt for sure she's a lock for #1. Anyone else bummed? (Thursday 29 May 2014; 3:50)
