It's been more than three years since Whitney Houston tragically passed away, but she is far from forgotten. Mariah Carey helped to keep the legendary singer's memory alive on Friday when she posted a heartfelt "flashback Friday" pic to Instagram.
The photo shows Carey and Houston together in 1998, when they collaborated on "When You Believe" for the soundtrack to the animated film "The Prince of Egypt". "Forever an icon," wrote Carey in her Instagram caption.
Houston's self-titled debut album, released in 1985, recently reached its 30th anniversary. She died in early 2012 when she accidentally drowned in her hotel bathtub.
