Mariah's kids sing on her newly released Christmas song

The Queen of Christmas, a.k.a. Mariah Carey, is spreading holiday cheer early with the release of her new holiday song "The Star", which will be featured on the upcoming soundtrack of a movie by the same name. Carey announced her new tune on her social media, revealing twins Monroe and Moroccan Cannon, 6, also sing some notes on the track. "Hanging with my two best friends, listening to their guest appearance," she captioned the adorable photo.

The pop superstar earned the name of "Queen of Christmas" for her 1994 smash hit "All I Want for Christmas Is You", now a classic on everyone's holiday shuffle, and two Christmas albums, where the diva put her stamp on standards like "Silent Night" and "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town". The new tune has already garnered celebrity fans. Perez Hilton, who was surprised by how much he liked the carol, said: "Mariah is bringing it. The Christmas season has officially begun."

Others featured on the soundtrack include Fifth Harmony's "Can You See", A Great Big World's "Life Is Good", and an unreleased track from Kelsea Ballerini titled "Children Go Where I Send You". The Star (out November 17) follows the nativity story via a donkey named Bo, who goes on an adventure with other stable animals during the time of Christ's birth. Celebrities who lent their voices to the project include Oprah Winfrey, Kelly Clarkson, Tracy Morgan, Keegan-Michael Key and Gina Rodriguez.

I find that MC does not belt out full force on The Star because I think that she wants us hear Dem Babies' singing. I would also like for MC's mom Patricia to join them.
