Mariah Carey is not "demanding" James Packer "ditch" his yacht, despite a report from one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can correct the story. According to OK!, Carey is "rocking the boat" with Packer because she's not a "fan" of the luxurious "love boat" yacht "where he seduced other woman". The magazine writes, "The diva refuses to be haunted by ghosts of flings pasts, so she's demanded her fiancé ditch the Artic P." It's said that Carey point-blank told Packer she wasn't "'comfortable' with him keeping the yacht he's had since his playboy days".
Of course, Carey looked quite comfortable as she sailed on the boat with not just Packer, but also her twins last summer. OK! conveniently leaves that fact out of its piece, and goes on to claim the Australian mogul has "acquiesced to the request - and gone even further to show his devotion". A so-called "source" for the outlet claims, "James has a new $100 million yacht on order, which he plans to call Lady Mariah. He's ready to do whatever it takes to please her."
While Gossip Cop has no doubt Packer wants to make Carey happy, the superstar is not causing issues over his famous yacht. In fact, there's been speculation that the couple might use the boat to sail to a wedding destination. And though it's possible Packer, a billionaire, could decide to add to his collection, for now this OK! story sinks.
