Mariah difficult on set of Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler movie?

Mariah Carey did not act difficult while shooting a cameo for Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler's upcoming comedy, The House, despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can correct this claim. We're told it's "not true".

According to Life & Style, Carey's supposed antics began when she allegedly held up production for hours by arriving late to set. A so-called "source" tells the magazine her appearance was "a total diva disaster", adding, "Mariah was supposed to fall down and die, but she refused to fall." The outlet's questionable source further claims Carey would also complain she "wasn't really feeling her character's motivation", despite only having a small cameo role.

But Gossip Cop checked in with a reliable source close to the production, who assures us the cast and crew had a fun time working with Carey, and the tabloid's "diva" claim is simply "not true". Unfortunately, we're not surprised by the magazine's tall tale. Just this week, Gossip Cop corrected Life & Style's sister publication, In Touch, for falsely alleging Carey had an assistant adjust her boobs in between takes on the film.

Additionally, Ferrell is a fan of Carey's and even brought his wife to a meet-and-greet with the singer following one of her Las Vegas concerts earlier this year. The singer later posted an Instagram photo of herself hanging out with the comedic actor backstage at the show, along with the hashtag, "Elf forever", in reference to his 2003 Christmas comedy. Regardless of the two stars' admiration for each other, Carey was not at all difficult on the set of Ferrell's new movie.
