Grammy winner and best-selling female artist Mariah Carey is currently on tour in Asia for a trek that will wrap up November 9 in Bangkok. Following her successful 2017 Las Vegas residency, the pop icon is delivering her greatest hits to fans across Asia.
During her tour stop in Macao on Saturday (October 20), Ariel Fung represented Sony Music Asia Pacific to present Carey with a certificate of achievement for 1.6 billion sales units in Asia Pacific.
Carey expressed her gratitude on Instagram, writing, "Thank you so much Sony Music Asia Pacific for this honor. 1.6 Billion? Wow! Thank you to all of my amazing Asian fans for all the years of support. I love you and I'm so excited to be here on this tour."
After her Asia tour, Carey will perform her Christmas tour in major European cities in December, then kick off her new Caution World Tour in February 2019.
