Mariah Carey honored her late father, Alfred Roy Carey, with the sweetest gesture. The singer took to her Instagram to wish her father, who passed away in 2002, a happy birthday and paid tribute to him by restoring his vintage sports car. Carey posted a carousel of photos to the social media platform that showed off the completely restored red speedster.
The first photo showed the singer sitting inside the car as she looked up at the sky. Other snaps in the carousel showed her adorable 11-year-old twins, Morrocan and Monroe, as they sat inside the vehicle and even pretended to drive it.
"Happy birthday to you my father Alfred Roy Carey. The car you never got to finish is lovingly restored, complete with your spirit and my children. Sorry I never told you, all I wanted to say..." she wrote in the caption.
