Brett Ratner and Mariah Carey share a night out
"Rush Hour" director Brett Ratner shared a cozy night out with Mariah Carey on Saturday at the Cafe Carlyle after rumors swirled the pair has been dating. They were spotted arm in arm last month as they both celebrated their birthdays in St. Barts.
But Ratner has explained he and Carey are just longtime friends working on a movie project together to be based on one of the diva's past smash hits. (Carey's last album was awfully thin on those - but she's also planning to release a new album of her past No. 1 hits. She'll reportedly sing all 18 of the self-penned, chart-topping songs live during her residency at Caesars Palace in May.)
A day after meeting Ratner - who produced upcoming mafia movie "Black Mass" with Johnny Depp and Sienna Miller - Carey was with her ex, Nick Cannon. The divorcing duo was with their twins Moroccan and Monroe, 3, at a Bronx Zoo egg hunt.
Despite the bitter breakup, Cannon commented, "Best Easter Sunday", after Carey posted a pic. Ratner and Carey reps had no comment. (Page Six)
