Having already announced "it's time" to kick off the 2023 holiday season, Mariah Carey is now counting down to another major yuletide event: the November 15 launch of her "Merry Christmas One and All" North American tour.
Before Mimi hits the road to spread Christmas cheer in Pittsburgh, Boston, Baltimore, Los Angeles, Toronto, and many other major contintental cities, she's hit the promo trail in support of the forthcoming jaunt as well as her other holiday-themed offerings (e.g. Victoria's Secret and Children's Place campaigns, etc.).
After tackling "Good Morning America" and "Jimmy Kimmel",' Carey was spotted with our friends at "Entertainment Tonight" talking about the tour and even what she'll be doing in the new year.
"So, I've been working on some new music," she told "ET" correspondent Denny Directo (doubling down on a previous tease). "I have about 10 songs completed so far; it's been fun."
Later in the interview, Directo quizzed the diva about rumors she will be among the highly anticipated guests joining Usher during his 2024 Super Bowl halftime show.
"He hasn't reached out," Mariah responded before dishing on if she would accept the offer if proposed. "It's not about conquering anything, especially with Usher because he conquers all of that stuff in his sleep."
While Lambs may not be seeing the icon alongside Usher at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas on February 11, there's still time to catch her live elsewhere.
