Why we love big voices (63,182) by Pau from Mexico This is the kind of articles we'll read in next years (2020's and so on). The media will have to compare the new upcoming artists, so they'll need to be objective and compare them to the female legends. MC's name will come up and all the negative stuff will be forgotten, they will praise her voice and even her songwriting skills. We all know Aretha Franklin has her own diva antics, but who cares? She is in her 70's and when you talk about her and somebody in the conversation doesn't know her you just start singing "Respect" and they go "Oh yes, I know her. I love that song." In 10 years somebody will start singing "Without you" or AIWFCIY and they'll say the same thing. (Thursday 9 June 2016; 21:53)

But she's clearly been doing her thing the vocals sound great. I better not talk too much about Selena here, so as not to upset anyone since this site is all about Mariah. But I will say, that I absolutely adore her which is putting it mildly. And I'm not even technically Latina but I swear, my soul has never known that. Lmao. Music has no boundaries. Wendy (63,180) by Gee from U.S.A. (New York City) I watch her show enough and I can say Wendy puts stories together and makes up facts and opinions and most of the time she has to depend on her staff to make sure she is telling the right story. Do I believe there is real beef between MC and Wendy other than Wendy talking her daily dose of smack? But what I noticed is when it comes to MC the majority is something negative and when it's something positive there is always a backhanded compliment behind it. Mariah even mentioned Wendy in her song. She should be honored that Mariah referenced her show in one of her songs. I really don't get what their beef is (if there is one). But I will say one thing that disappointed me about the Vegas show was how some of the #1s, especially older ones, had a chorus and second verse cut out. A la Around The World concert. Mimi L. (63,168) by Giovanni from USA I love all the ensembles except for the fur and one you think is her second worst. The fur was too much and gave me a Diana Ross tease. So if she got her inspiration from her then I guess I can understand. I heard Diana is one of Mariah's "idols" yet I've never heard her praise her or even mention her. But anyways, my favorites are the one for "Touch my body" (the hair was on point) and the one for "My all". And yes, the dress that gave me the Grammys 2006 was stunning. When I saw Mariah in the robe I thought she had a boxing match with Jennifer. Because I don't see what was the point of her wearing that. Though I remember reading an article from 1998 or thereabouts where she claimed she was the type of schoolgirl who "slammed other girls into the lockers" and smoked in the bathroom during the lessons and was generally a nightmare to school. But then Mariah was a born singer. With a voice like hers there was no way she wouldn't be world famous. The tone, the range, the versatility, the power. The glitter bodysuit (63,164) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter This outfit is the second worst (after the fur robe). It looks incomplete, weird and uninspired. What is even happening in the lower region of the dress? Plus I said this before but I just can't with how uninspired the bead detailing is. Bring back the SSFT original bodysuit. It was unnecessary and if they had to make her wear it, it should have been with a bodysuit not a gown. Plus they should have limited the fur to the first picture we saw of it, where there was just a little fur lining, the whole thing wasn't covered. As for the red dress, I see it's getting a lot of hate haha but I think she looked stunning in it. I actually prefer this (for a show) than the other red we saw. (Wednesday 8 June 2016; 21:18)

They made her look bigger than she is. Or maybe it's just the angle. I've noticed many people didn't like the red dress. I think that one might actually be my favourite. Love them legs. When she sang happy birthday to Sharon she was ripped apart in YouTube claiming she was trying so hard or she wasn't hitting the right notes. Her opening gown looks great, it's very Grammys 2006 but the fur coat honestly doesn't go along with it, it looks like they force Mariah to wear it for the sake of pushing a Vegas-themed ensemble. This is also good and the one she wore on the Infinity part. The red outfit could have been perfect if it is actually the original gown Mark Zunino posted on Instagram. Wish they stuck with the original black and gold body suit in the Honey part, it looked phenomenal on her. Okay now I'm ranting haha but anyway here's the highlights of her first show.
