Beacon Theater 12/5 (69,142) by 123 from USA
She killed it again. I love these live belts in Here Comes Santa Clause. Her belts sounded so effortless and clear. Of course the intro was great in JTTW. The vocal performance we all wanted on VH1 Divas. I do enjoy the toy soldier outfit. Say what you want and we may not all be happy with the crazy ride she's taken us lately but she still has it vocally.

Some of you on here really need to relax. The bickering and going back and forth is ridiculous and its behavior that really should reeled in. Come on, we all love Mariah. No one, including her, walking this earth is perfect. There's the good, the bad, the ugly, and the please delete that part of my life. Unfortunately, we will not always get what we want from her and that's okay. That's reality. She's not a puppet and we shouldn't expect her to be. Her artistry and choices she makes in her life and career should be respected and/or respectfully disagreed with, by all of us. That includes all of our opinions as well. Mariah is human and that's how I am looking at her. As a human being. I loved the first episode of her show and can't wait for the second.

I think we might. I think the beach pics with BT were filmed for an ad or a music video.

Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night (69,138) by B from USA
Mariah did ok. She sang some parts live and lipped others. It's wasn't one of her best and it wasn't one her worst. It was festive and lively. The residency and Sweet Sweet Fantasty tour have taught her how to own a stage and had increased her confidence in performing and her voice.

Re: Mariah's World (69,122) (69,137) by 123 from USA
All I will say is there is no way Mariah would be dating either of them. It's just staged, fabricated tabloid fodder to promote the show and possibly get back at James if that relationship was even remotely real in itself.

Re: Mishka (69,128) (69,136) by Marissa from USA
The same reason why people name their daughters Taylor or Jamie, or their sons Aubrey or Blair. A lot of people don't care much about having traditionally male or female names for their kids. Also, Stella is of Russian descent but she's from the USA, and in America any name that ends in the letter a is generally perceived as feminine, so it basically works out. Coming from that same American school of thought, it never occurred to me that that name could be masculine until you pointed it out.

Re: Mariah's world (69,112) (69,135) by 123 from USA
Hi Liz. I noticed this as well. I came to the conclusion that Mariah really isn't that good of a business woman. She kind of goes with the flow and if the manager is incompetent, her projects suffer for it. I remember Brenda K. Starr's story on Wendy Williams during the Mimi era where Benny Medina dismissed her claiming he didn't know her and when she confronted Mariah about it instead of saying something like, "I'll make sure he is respectful to you" she was kind stayed in the middle so not to rock the boat with this new manager who was supposed to put her on top again. Other than Jermaine, I do believe most of the other managers were just collecting a check. I also believe that Mariah thought they would just take care of everything and all she had to do at this point of her career is present good music. She thinks Stella is competent because she has made Mariah money, but I do believe Jermaine would have done the same had she listened to him. It was his idea to do Vegas but she blew off the idea. In conclusion, Stella will only disappear when one her Mariah's projects fail. That's a patterned I've noticed from Mariah time and time again. So, I'm watching all this unfold in front of my screen and continuing to give Stella the side eye, I see you Stella.

In my opinion, this entire situation (Stella, Mishka, Bryan, James, the ring, the inconvenience fee, the reality show, her enormous tig ol bitties being out constantly) is cringwortyhy. I can't believe this is the same woman, who's singing and songwriting, I have loved since the early 90's.

Re: I've seen enough (69,104) (69,133) by 123 from USA
Marissa, you have to watch the show in order to get the answer to your question. I get some lambs feel it's beneath them or her to watch the show, but it really does reveal a lot. You can't judge if you haven't watched. It's not a bad show and it had a lot of good moments. There are staged moments like the assistant but I would put this along with all of the specials she has had. I would love for you to watch and get your review only because I would like to hear your opinion on things other than the staged moments.

The only difference between the old crew and Stella and co. is that she hides her ass kissing behind this fake girl empowerment BS.

Re: I'm living for Mariah's World (69,119) (69,130) by RibbonB from USA
She was busy reading Mariah's contract, or rather prenup. I am a little curious to see how they unravel this tangled web they have woven. Stellar messed up big time in that she didn't "let" Mariah sign that commitment pre "nuP" because she wasn't yet divorced then, so it's lame to act like they had to rush a tour, rush plan a "wedding", when it would have only been a fake ceremony etc. So Stella messed up that 50 million someone was talking about. So tackily contrived, but apparently entertaining.

Amazing: Mariah's World (69,129) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Mariah's World: Love. Not sure what there is to hate about this. As a general assessment it's one of E.'s most well produce programs, ever. Mariah isn't pulling the one diminutional diva bit and she's hilarious AF. JLT: Job long time, is a hilarious moment. My only question what the hell was that cardigan Molly was wearing? Seriously, a gun motif on a Cardi. MmmK.

Mishka (69,128) by Dennis from Miami, FL
Why did Stella have chosen that name for her daughter? Mishka is a word of masculine gender in Russian. Can mean diminutive of male bear or a teddy bear. But still it's masculine.

Very true and she can't know that Stellar is any more trustworthy, just because she is a constant kiss ass.

Surprised by Mariah's World (69,124) by Martyn from England, UK
I was pleasantly surprised by Mariah's World. British reality TV is quite different to American (much slower paced, longer scenes, not as much backing music etc.) so when I took that into account and got used to how chaotic it seemed at first, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Mariah came across quite funny and there were only a few toe-curling moments (i.e. the "assistant" casually slipping in that she just got a job with Mariah Carey as if it would be a shock to her boyfriend whilst the entire thing was being filmed by a camera crew - horrendously staged). One thing that did get on my nerves was Stella trying to steal the show and constantly licking Mariah's arse, but other than that, I'm actually quite looking forward to the next episode.

That would have been a lot of fun. Love ya too dahlin'. By the way do you think we might get a theme song for MW? I was hoping they'd release one to coincide with the premier. Imagine the exposure.

Two videos (69,121) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
This video of Tanaka talking about Mariah and how we have to tune in to find out how it all happened is just so next level cringeworthy, I just can't. Seriously, this just looks so cheap. Mariah also gives a little interview and she is as coy as ever. But Bryan's interview is just horrible. Notice Mishka trying to get her 2 seconds of fame in the background.

Re: I'm living for Mariah's World (69,111) (69,119) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Why would Stella even have to make this tour happen in 2 weeks when the dates were announced back in December. She went on tour next March. If the dates were allowed in December, you can bet your life they had to negotiate the venues even before that. I'm talking months here. So the fact that the tour had to supposedly be planned in 2 weeks is weird because it didn't have to come down to that. If Miss Bulochnikov was spending more time at her work desk and less time following Mariah on her yacht and dates.

Re: Mariah's world (69,112) (69,118) by Lila from United States
I didn't like her whining about things being blamed on her when it's someone else's fault nor the digs at the old crew. Mariah needs to take responsibility for her own actions and stop acting like an innocent babe in the woods being taken advantage of. If she wanted to be on time, then she would be on time. As far as the old crew, no one had a gun to her head, forcing her to keep any of them in employment. If she wanted something and they weren't achieving what she wanted, she could have fired them at any time. She was obviously fine with the way things were. She needs to not act brand new and stop building Stella up to be so great when Stella has yet to prove herself an asset.
