The "American Idol judges and The Voice coaches" LMFAO. But yeah, where are they? Maybe bashing the ensemble? Anyway, we love everybody.

Re: Stelle is here to stay (69,225) (69,230) by RibbonB from USA
She was a lucky find, he hardly created her, nor has he put out another artist like her. I know his history, Clive's is more impressive, but once a star has faded or fallen, there is often never a full recovery. There is no guarantee how M. would have fared had she continued to work with him. She allegedly went berserk on him when she felt snubbed at the Grammy's towards the end of their marriage.

Brian Tanaka and the posse (69,229) by Edward from USA
Tanaka is a dancer who's playing along with MC with their scripted plot. He's not making MC do anything she doesn't want to do. He's young, and just like MC and many other artists have done, he's using her platform to gain some notoriety along the way, there's nothing wrong with that. If Mariah likes him, so be it. If we're going to put a label on every man associated with Mariah, then we must be ready when the labels are put on her, like she's a Cougar, Control Freak, etc. I know there have been not so good people around MC, but not everybody is there to leech on her, because if they don't their jobs, like dancing their asses off, they would be fired. Do you really think that it is easy to be Mariah's boyfriend? Being her boyfriend and having less money than her, even if you're independent with a great job, automatically gets you the label of thirsty, loser, gold-digger and the list goes on. Many fans didn't care whether Mariah was happy with Nick, they saw him as this guy with less money than her taking advantage of fragile and innocent Mariah. Do you really think that when two people love each other having diarrhea of the mouth on some TV show was the demise of their marriage? I absolutely doubt it. And there, Mariah chose him to be the father of her kids. Maybe he wasn't a good husband for not being there, but not for not working his ass off to provide to his family, with the pressure on his shoulder of being with such a huge star.

B.Tanaka (69,228) by Matty from Vancouver Canada
Bryan is the hottest guys Mimi has dated since Christian Monzon in the mid-2000s. Mariah is all cute and blushy around him, the way she was with Nick Cannon, Derek Jeter and Luis Miguel. I love when she's with a guy you can tell just makes her laugh.

Re: And they'll linger on (69,222) (69,227) by Licia from USA
I actually didn't think about how the other managers had other clients besides Mariah and they couldn't strictly be with her 24/7. It makes sense why she's so stuck on Stella. Does Stella really live with her? I know that the family is around alot, but I refuse to believe she's housing these people. Lol.

That's downright ridiculous. "Lucky"? Even you know how to use Wikipedia or Google I would imagine. Check TM's creds pre MC before spouting ignorant. The guy is ancient now and crazy paid with a young wife, I seriously doubt he feels the need to work.

Nah RibbonB. I am just a fan trying to start a conversation because I did not get a real picture of what people thought. And I got some good, thoughtful answers to my question, so it is all cool.

And they'll linger on (69,222) by Edward from USA
I don't think Crustella is a flop away from being fired by MC. Benny, Cindi, JD and the others had other responsibilities, some of them had managing companies with different artists to serve. Crustella is a live-in manager, meaning she's dedicated to Mariah, that's why her older daughter is everywhere MC is. Mariah Carey loves undivided attention, and this woman has made her life about Mariah in such a sycophantic way. If Mariah needs her, she doesn't have to call anywhere and wait for a meeting, she's always there a few rooms away from MC, with daughters, parents and grandparents just in case MC needs to write lyrics about the elderly. There's something demeanor that I don't really like.

Re: Her recent thing? (69,199) (69,221) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I didn't watch the complete episode, but what I've seen I didn't like. Every MTV special in the past was fun to watch (Mariah Around The World, Number Ones where she had guests, Rockumentary) just to name a few. Yes she's a grown-up woman who should known better. Most of the people who work for her are fake. Nobody is telling her the truth. I won't watch the up-coming episodes. The thing with the wedding dress was ridiculous. The dancer who told her it's all about t... and boobs. Does he know a normal concert is about singing and some classy entertaining? I can't believe this whole stuff.

Re: Stelle is here to stay (69,205) (69,220) by Marissa from USA
I agree. Mariah and Tommy may have been a terrible match in terms of an intimate relationship, but on a professional level, Tommy was excellent for Mariah's career. I don't give a damn how many lambs hate him. Mariah's career (except TEOM era) has been sporadic, half-assed and volatile ever since. If they would have never gotten into a romantic relationship, who knows, she might still be working with him and we probably wouldn't have 90% of the complaints that we have today about her. Mariah did supply the stellar artistry so her success is not 100% to his credit, but due to Mariah's chaotic childhood, she has a penchant for chaos and instability and really needs a person who will give her structure regardless of whether she hates it or not if she wants her career to be at its peak. What's ironic is the fact that most of the success that she brags about was when she was working with a strict, take-no-shit team, yet she wants to keep running to people who challenge her to do nothing musically. She may be more active under Stella's leadership, but it's painfully obvious that her management heavily accommodates her lazy, idgaf, let's just have a splash disposition. Obviously I'm not expecting her to work as rigorously as she did in the past, but there is a huge difference between prioritizing rest and relaxation in your life and just acting lazy, sloppy, and indifferent, and she is typically doing the latter.

UK number one (69,219) by Letters From Adi from India
She's #5 on the UK mid week charts. She'll probably end up at #6, making her third decade in Top 10 with the same song (the first artist ever?). She was #2 on Spotify this Saturday. If we can stream the song crazily the week before Christmas, we can get her another #1. On the other side, a Top 10 is very likely. Unsure whether if she can go #1 or not.

Re: Tanaka (69,193) (69,218) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I don't know what to think about Bryan Tanaka. He seems nice and of course he's a handsome good-looking guy. Maybe he has a little crush on Mariah, that's nothing which is hard to believe. But for a "real relationship" with a superstar I'm not sure if he's ready for that. As I said so many times before I just want Mariah to be happy. If he's the reason that she smiles from her heart again, well then I'm fine with it.

Re: Tanaka is a parasite - fame and money parasite (69,204) (69,217) by Lila from United States
At this point, the most I'm willing to give Tanaka is bisexual. I still stand by my original assessment that Tanaka comes across as this gay best friend that Mariah feels she can have fun with, flirt, do whatever, because at the end of the day, they know that they're not serious, there's no relationship, and no expectations.

I'm sorry DV but that excuse no longer works for an artist that has been doing this for 26 years (this goes for any artist).

I think At the Christmas shows she is more comfortable because it's all her fans who "want" to see her, maybe she isn't 100% comfortable when she is performing at other events. She is a real person it happens.

I must say I was mad at Mimi for cancelling the tour in Brazil and the whole South America but she is slaying at Beacon and now I wonder where the American Idol judges and The Voice coaches on lamblyland are hidden. Can't see them. Regarding Mariah's World I hope we will truly understand what happened with the SA leg of the tour. I can't be mad at our girl any longer.

Mariah should read her own press (69,211) by RibbonB from USA
One important step M. should take for her future is to take time to read her own paid for press. She should read some of the Daily Mail and TMZ comments for these regularly planted stories. She supposedly lives in this "non bleak" bubble, but if she had a problem with her prior team saying one thing to her face and doing another, she should challenge herself to really see the image she is creating. Maybe then she would not be so subject to the whims of any given team. Now if she knows what she is getting from what she is putting out and she is happy with that, then there we are.

Oh please, Clive couldn't help Whitney in the end and many think he "killed" her, maybe M. wanted to escape that torture. All stars shine bright for their moment, some moments are longer than others. Notice TM hasn't created another M. because he is not God just a lucky record exec.

Re: Stelle is here to stay (69,205) (69,208) by Mara from United States
I too think Stella isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Maybe, possibly if this "docuseries" is a complete flop and makes MC out to be a joke, maybe she will get rid of her but I feel there is a "psychic vampire" quality about Stella that she feeds off of M's insecurities and uses the empowering women and how they are both working mothers and that is what is connecting Mariah to Stella. That and that she thinks she will and is making Mariah all this money. I honestly think Mariah knows her age is a disadvantage in the music industry and her years of money making are slowing and she is doing all she can now (touring, make up, shows, Vegas, reality TV) to benefit off of that. We know Mariah makes a lot of money every year but we also know that Mariah lives an incredibly lavish grand lifestyle with private jets and always even way before Packer would yacht around Capri and holiday in Aspen and always bring along a lot of people along the way, not to mention the cost of being "her" with the diamonds, gowns, hair and makeup. She needs a lot of money to keep that lifestyle going so she will continue to do what she can since let's be honest, I don't think that involves new music right now. I hope I am wrong but I just don't think she thinks that is where the money is right now.

Re: Beacon ensemble (69,198) (69,207) by Mara from United States
Yes, Mariah is wearing a corset underneath these ensambles and that is the reason for the shapelier look. Mariah gains a lot of her weight in her neck and shoulder area and even in the dress at the premier with the single strand of diamonds I might add (which took years off her by minimizing it). Her neck area looks a little bloated, and I'm not criticizing, I'm just pointing it out. I hope she has time to keep herself healthy and take time for her. Now she is headlining a show in Dubai in February so she is not slowing down with Vegas after that. We don't really know the real Mariah and this weight gain could be medically related. Whenever you are on medication, steroids they can do things to your body almost overnight. She has every right to be like the rest of us over 40 lol and her joints could stiffen up and need medicine. I remember after the twins were born she had carpal Tunnel in her hands and that is a form of auto immune and could lead to stiffened joints and soreness all the way up the arm. Just trying to point out that we don't live our lives under the level of microscope that Mariah does and I can't imagine how that must feel having to go out there if you put a few pounds on. I hate when the holidays come around and I feel I put a few pounds on from the last. But what I don't understand and nerver will is, why push the boobs out when automatically they give you a bigger look to begin with. That long sleeve dress gives her a much slimmer look almost instantly. I love the color of that red bodysuit but just feel it's not very flattering right now and the dress that was almost identical from last year was much better fitting and not as distracting. But it comes down to if she sounds amazing, I don't care what she looks like. She is beautiful no matter what and still the best looking in the business. But the change in weight is definitely dresses or outfits with shape wear either sewn in or a corset as of late.
