Stella / ed (70,640) by THE TRUTH from USA
Well since that's you there Stella who knows absolutely nothing about music, it totally makes sense that with all your brilliant managerial accumen (do I need to translate) that you'd think it was fine for Mariah to skip her sound check. So it's Mariah's fault twice, one for skipping sound check and two for hiring you. Oh yeah and three for keeping you and your whole family employed while they suck the last drops of a once brilliant career. Good job.

The two Stellas on MCArchives (70,639) by Marcus from Brazil
Eric, the amount of censorship Terna had on his last message (70,632) reminds me of how foul mouthed Stella is. The fact that he refers to Edoardo as level headed makes it tough to pick which one of them is Stella.

Re: Old pic of Stella (70,626) (70,638) by G.G. from USA
Someone please teach her how to blend. Her makeup is so harsh. I guess is matches her personality. Yuck. I've seen more natural looking drag queens.

Thank you Terna. Like Mariah says "And we give them positivity."

Capital letters (70,636) by Edouard from France
A part of my earlier post is missing. I forgot that one should never write in capital letter. I was saying that I'm glad Mariah didn't pretend that WBT was live. I believe she showed respect to us and to herself by not doing so. She basically refused to play along. Since they couldn't fix the problem they played the album version instead and she clearly wasn't ready to pretend it was live. I respect that.

My thoughts on NYE (70,635) by Martyn from England, UK
The network paid a lot of money to have Mariah there, and people in the crowds waited 12+ hours without having access to a toilet just to see her. Mariah's job is to sing/perform and she did neither of those things that night, yet walked away with her pay cheque. She was given a full day for a tech rehearsal and chose not to attend. I don't know what it's like to have a screaming crowd in front of you and not to be able to hear the music loudly (my earpiece has never failed ), but what confuses me is that the dancers still seemed to be dancing in time, so surely they could hear something? Also, despite the obvious "she was planning to mime because she can't sing anymore" response from the public, she was clearly planning on singing the majority of it live, as the prerecorded vocals still played, and it was just the usual high/whistle notes. It's likely she bailed because she didn't want a repeat of Rockefeller. Stella's "purposeful sabotage for ratings" response is deluded and ridiculous, and referring to Mariah as the "biggest star there" is arrogant and pretty rude given that Gloria Estefan was also performing (I'm sure her and Mariah are friends, right?). It all boils down to unprofessionalism. Not showing up to rehearse and refusing to attempt to sing when the shit hits the fan is basically Mariah not doing her job. It's like me going to work and just looking at my monitor blankly. She isn't the first artist to have an earpiece that has failed, and I have never seen anybody react like that. I feel sorry for her and it's unfortunate that it happened, but the way she dealt with it was weird and unprofessional.

Re: What happened? ((70,610) (70,634) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Believe it or not I had a "feeling" that something would go wrong at this event. I will not say that Mariah had no chance to make it better, but at least she tried. I don't know if the technicals made fun of her. One thing is clear, Mariah has the worst "team" ever. She needs to work with only the best of the best like she used to. Of course we are all humans and make mistakes but her manager is the biggest mistake who Mariah choose for wrong reasons. I hope Mariah gets a nice vacation and rethinks some things. For changes it's never too late.

I just don't understand (70,633) by Edouard from France
How some of you here (not everybody though) don't show any compassion to Mariah anymore. She looked gorgeous, she was ready. She went to a soundcheck (I did my homework you see, after reading your comments). Can't we just, as a collective force, embrace Mariah and feel sad for her. She works so hard, always has. When something like this happens, they just should have cut to commercials and fix the problem (it is their responsability). You just don't throw an artist (any artist for that matter) in the arena like a gladiator. I believe she handled it quiet gracefully considering her frustration and anger. Shouldn't we all feel let down by the production team. They basically ripped us off a Mariah performance. Can you please try to understand, I'm not asking you to agree but just make a step towards Mariah (my hero, and I believe your hero as wall). P.S I'm not Stella , I just choose to believe (even though she's tough and rude) that she has Mariah's best interest at heart. I think there is a reason why Mariah hired her that we probably don't fully understand because Mariah's been quiet about it. Her ex-team wasn't doing their job anymore and I believe Stella, because she's strong, motivates Mariah to keep going. And I'm thankful for that.

Re: I'm glad to see (70,620) (70,632) by Terna from Nigeria
I'm glad someone sees the bigger picture, is level headed [...] able to assess the situation with reason and common sense, not just running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I made the same observation [...] mentioned something about DaBrat being Mariah's mouthpiece. I'm loving this Mariah in terms of not backing down anymore and being more vocal about such things like her response to Demi's diss [...] her Instagram post shortly after the whole fiasco. Classic Mariah. She has reached that sacred place in life when you're truly unbothered by all the hoopla [...] just live. Royalty. Stay positive lambs.

Re: Old pic of Stella (70,626) (70,631) by MusicfanJ from Germany
This pic is hilarious. Is it possible to look even more cheap? I usually don't have a meaning of somebody just because of the look. But in that case the look says it all. And when she opens the mouth it's even worse. No behavior at all. Looks like a person who would go to "Big Brother" the TV-show.

Now that I've calmed down (70,630) by Randy from USA
I think this is a confirmation of the loss of the voice and only because she could've cleared the stage cut all music and just sang acapella with her hand up to her ear. But I'm not calling for her to retire, just go back to singing without the ensembles and the dancers. One of the best moments of the Vegas show is her and the piano and nothing else. To fix this MC needs to do a press conference performance acapella and release an unplugged album. Nothing but her, piano and acoustics. CNN wrote a beautiful article about technological glitches and how MX should have handled it: I'm sad this is national news now though. How to avoid a Mariah Carey meltdown.

The loud delusion of the possible two Stellas (70,629) by Marcus from Brazil
Eric, for a moment I thought Stella was Terna, since his delusions are usually at an all time high, going off on Licia as if he was arguing with one of his peers (another woman). But then reading all messages from this Edoardo, supposedly from France, who has been posting a while after Stella took over, I realized he trumped Terna any day. Stella, we got you girl.

Lol I'm so done. After 26 plus years this same situation should not be happening as much as it does. So yeah she needs to be there for the soundcheck. Lol.

Old pic of Stella (70,626) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Saw this floating around UKMix, it's a shot of Stella at her old job, what's a little disturbing is that the kid holding the pole is either Mishka or Sasha.

Billboard article (70,625) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Stella is darn near making me sick with her stupidity. The Billboard article is just another stupid move. Here is the link for those of you who want to get sick along with me.
1) Stella is going at it again, still trying to take on a major television network and production house. This won't be good since DCP is already slightly hinting at defamation law suits. Of course it's good news for Stella because she'll make her sister Mariah's attorney so more money for the family.
2) "Both sources say the fault was on Carey's tech team, which seems to support repeated claims by DCP that all was functioning properly on the show production end." This seems to appear more and more to be an inside job and I actually wouldn't be surprised if Stella did it to get ratings for MW. However I obviously don't know that for a fact and it might have just been bad luck. (This is from a separate Billboard article by the way.)
3) Major respect to Randy Jackson for avoiding the plague that is Stella for as long as he could, but snakes have their ways, so she jumped on Brett Ratner to get her chance with Mariah.
4) Stella talking about how great it is that she can bring her kids along, girl that's because apart from Mariah no one would voluntarily bring in that mess and most importantly no one would hire a manager who has no management background or skill.
5) She pretty much admits a lot of the stuff on MW is exaggerated and scripted. I'm sitting here like, mind blown, really? I thought it was all real.
6) She talks about how people think she's mean because of the Molly storyline, no Stella, people (fans and casual audience) hated you from the moment they saw you because of you camera hogging antics. It's funny to see her talk about others forgetting that they are not the star, Mariah is, when clearly someone needs to remind Stella about that.
7) Of course she plugs in her 13 year old, I'm surprised she didn't mention what an awesome job she did with Mariah's IG.
8) She mentions multiple times how a lot of it was amplified for televeision, then pray tell me why you all still call it a docu-series?
9) The fact that Stella's answer to the following questions is about herself and not Mariah shows she is the one who forgets Mariah is the star. The question was "Which scenes were you hesitant to put out there?" She answers 'Like when I saw the headlines 'Russian Dictator'. It's so obnoxious. But then I laugh about it. Now I'm thinking of trademarking it. I put it (in my Instagram bio) after. I was like, 'I'm just gonna play along.'" First of all dahlin' no one cares about what people call you, the answer should have been about Mariah. Secondly people didn't start calling you the Russian Dictator, you had it in your instagram bio all along and you play this crap up way too many times. Stop trying to make "Stella Russian Dictator" happen, it won't happen.
Stella is the most annoying human being honestly.

Ha ha ha yes was thinking the same thing. Stella is so awesome protecting poor fragile innocent Mariah from the evil record companies and Dick Clark.

Re: Do you really think Mariah needs to attend a sound (70,621) (70,623) by THE TRUTH from USA
Edouard you obviously know have absolutely no background upon which to base that ridiculous assertion. You always sound check and you better believe that all the way up to 2001 Mariah showed up for her sound checks even though she had a super pro audio team which was headed by Chris Apostle (Tommy Mottola's go to guy) who is an awesome sound engineer and production genius in his own right. Maybe just spout off when you know what you're talking about.

Do you really think Mariah needs to attend a sound (70,621) by Edouard from France
Do you even know what a soundcheck is? She doesn't need to do that after 25 years of career. She sang Emotions and We Belong Together about 200 times last year. Someone can do the soundcheck for her, check there actually is a mic feed, check the balanced according to how Mariah likes it. That's it.

I'm glad to see (70,620) by Edouard from France
Stella is speaking out. Mariah has always been quiet (both out of respect and also because maybe she knew she couldn't win against labels, companies and so on). She never said anything when people stole her concepts, try to put her down, etc. She is a legend and I'm glad to see that she has surrounded herself with people who are willing to protect her and make it clear that she can't be toyed with and deserves respect from the ones who feed of off her career (like DCP compagny).

Mariah's a pro (70,619) by Edouard from France
Okay I get it everybody's upset. I've watched what happened many times and right from the start I could see that Mariah couldn't hear a thing. I believe she was very pro. Let me explain:
1. She stayed on stage. Some other artist would've cursed, stormed out, etc.
2. She tried to sing but clearly gave up singing when she realized she couldn't hear herself at all and that her attempt would've sounded horrible and not in sync with the track. She chose not to sing because she's such a great singer (and c'mon her perfomances in 2016 show this clearly). Emotions is not a hard song to sing for her and she does sing the high notes live on top of the recorded track.
3. Then when they started to play WBT she made it clear that it was the album track (she even says it). And she tries to sing along (you can hear it if you pay attention).
4. [...] She didn't fake it. She refused to sing WBT in playback. She didn't even try to convince us. And I think that was very smart and honest. I applaud her for that. And she did it look amazing (Butterfly era style) and with attitude and a smile.

Billboard article (70,618) by THE TRUTH from USA
Basically one thing is certain: if and it seems to be evident there was a problem with Mariah's monitor and it was her tech teams responsibility then clearly and obviously it was not sabotage or rather it was self sabotage by Mariah who decided that she was too fabulous to go to her own sound check.

GMA sitdown rumour? (70,617) by Shezz from Pk
Mariah, now Brazil is reporting that she will be going to GMA tomorrow to talk about what happened. Has anybody read anything official about that? If she does it will be the first correct step in ages. I hope she does and is honest and humble. Better than the WW3 stella is starting.

Re: Article: Mariah's team claims singer was sabotaged to get ratings (70,587) (70,616) by WeiLee from United States
What does Stella get out of sabotaging Mariah's performance for higher ratings on Mariah's World? Just curious. [Webmaster: Read the article. Stella claims it was sabotaged by ABC to get higher ratings for "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest".]
