Re: Test (70,318) (70,323) by B from USA She'll be remembered as The Voice of our generation and as the first female to debut a song at #1 on the Hot 100 and the first female to simultaneously occupy the #1 and #2 spots on the Hot 100. She'll also be remembered for having the Song of the Decade (One Sweet Day) of the 90's and the Song of the Decade (We Belong Together) of the 2000's. They can try but can't take these achievements away from her. She always hold these records. Even if Rhianna surpasses on 18 #1 single on the Hot 100 record she's still the most successful female songwriter and producer. (Monday 26 December 2016; 17:48)

Re: Commercial success debate (70,293) (70,322) by Lila from United States Personally, all I want from Mariah is quality: good music (whenever she puts any out), good performances, appropriate and stylish clothing, showing up everywhere on time or early, getting the right people behind her that are competent and knowledgeable in their job, only doing interviews when she actually has something to promote and not rambling when she does them, nix the wine and champagne, talk about diamonds, interviews with nothing to promote, rambling, the cheap money grab ventures, and the list goes on. I still listen to all of his albums, even the ones he's had with Andrew as Wham! Faith is one of the strongest debut albums of all time. It deserves every bit of praise it gets and Kissing A Fool is quite possibly the sexiest and most affecting torch song of all time - the best, really. Listen Without Prejudice Vol. I was good as well that I would have loved to hear its Vol. 2. Older, to me, is the equivalent of Mariah's Butterfly from a male artist. So moody, lush and introspective. Songs From The Last Century is mature and elegant. Patience is the comeback that could have even been bigger. And now he's found a different corner. So devastating. Genuinely nice guy and one of the few male vocalists who could outsing the divas. His version of Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me is one of the most punch-the-air, kickass recordings ever.
