Re: Debacle humor (70,774) (70,777) by RibbonB from USA
She may in fact be acting out because of the dissolution of her marriage, but that is one more thing she needs to stop and face and deal with. Acting out with a revolving door of sycophants and hired help will not solve the problem, it will only expand the problems ten fold. Mariah better do some hand wringing, praying and vocal scales or something. Communication is the key though, not "acting out".

Re: Article: Jenny McCarthy says her sympathy for Mariah "stopped" (70,775) (70,776) by THE TRUTH from USA
Yes I have, as well as attending numerous conferences on the subject. You are a school psychologist? So what? That qualifies you on the same level of a Dr. Mercola? I don't think so. A school psychologist is hardly a clinical psychologist. What happened, you couldn't finish school? Anybody who is using their brain and paying attention knows that the drug companies lobby to crush anyone who speaks out on the connections between vaccines and autism. There are volumes of evidence that neurotoxins like aluminum and mercury cause autism. Do you troll everywhere about this issue? This seems an odd place to be going off on this subject. Open your mind, give Vaxxed a watch.

Re: Article: Jenny McCarthy says her sympathy for Mariah "stopped" (70,759) (70,775) by Lee from UK
Just no. Have you actually read any of the research on autism and vaccines for yourself? I am a school psychologist and the research I am conducting for my doctoral thesis is on autism. I have systematically reviewed a lot of the "evidence" for this claim and it is BS. The research supporting the claim that vaccines cause autism was basically faked. 10 of the 12 authors of the research paper have come out against its conclusions. The authors have since been found guilty of deliberate fraud. Many of the "facts" were falsified and the British Medical Journal even reported on how the findings were made up for financial gain. Jesus, pick up a book sometime. It's people like Jenny McCarthy who are putting other people's children at risk.

Re: Debacle humor (70,764) (70,774) by Lila from United States
Lol, that makes no sense on her part but I don't think Wendy was trying to be petty. She seems to really think that some of Mariah's actions are a a symptom of her marriage dissolving. She thought James was Mariah trying to make Nick jealous and those horrible beach pictures was Mariah trying to look like she was fine after James dipped but even more to show that she wasn't bothered by Nick having a new baby because Wendy felt that was more hurtful than James leaving.

No, I won't watch some bollocks docu made by someone biased. The scientific community through peer review studies have concluded there is no link and Andrew Wakefield who came up with the idea just so he could sell his own vaccine was stripped from his medical diplomas and licence. Also, you are a conspiracy theorist who believes in the illuminati and who knows what else so I would say the one who needs to research is you.

Re: A smear campaign botched (70,747) (70,772) by Terna from Nigeria
Lol. I sound like Stella? Oh my well that's maybe as a result of my overprotective approach to Mariah Carey. You cannot talk sh*t nor try to make fun of her when I'm around. I was with Mariah through the darkest times, unapologetically a lamb existing amongst a brood of haters who can't even stand a mention of her name, so I grew thick skin. Come to think of it I need to be on team Mariah, that way you guys would have two Stellas to contend with not just one. Haha.

Re: A smear campaign botched (70,765) (70,771) by Terna from Nigeria
In other words you'll prefer if she "lost" right? And it was hateration on Mariah Carey Glitter era 2.0 all over again? Lol. How bad they want her to fail. She's won already we're not trying to make it "seem" like she has, because some of her industry peers have stood up for her and most peoples' attention deficit disorder (A.D.D) kicks in by now when you hear New Year's performance in respect to Mariah Carey. And yes social media makes a difference because now the people can view the evidence in this case the video clips, weigh it logically and rationally and then have a say unlike before, when all we had were what the extremely biased new houses stuffed down our throats ala Glitter. Stay positive Lila, lots of love, laughter and light.

Yes I agree, I don't include Big Jim or Trey Lorenz, Maryann is a little suspect based on her MW acting and baby on the bus drama. Lol. Wendy has clocked Stellar and the rest of the thirst-bots from the beginning.

Re: Debacle humor (70,764) (70,769) by RibbonB from USA
Yes, exactly about Nick. I'm surprised she didn't bring up the fact that he was sick over the holidays. Blaming him for M's current acts is just messy.

Re: MW ratings (70,762) (70,768) by Lannister from USA
To be fair, it was January 1. That said, what were the ratings for each episode? I know the first episode was skewed due to it being on 2 stations and the Bravo numbers being much higher.

Bryan and Anthony (70,767) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
I don't know if this means anything but did you all notice that throughout the performance on NYE, Mariah was basically only dancing with Anthony? There was a point where Mariah turns to Anthony and he picks her thigh up and she dips, while Bryan is pulling awkward moves beside them as if he doesn't know what to do? This happened throughout the performance with Mariah basically only dancing with Anthony. Whereas in the past shows Mariah was dancing a lot with Bryan and even in the Diva's Live show, when she was raised by her dancers, she still reached out and grabbed Bryan even though he was far away, here. Does this mean she's over the drama? Or am I reading too much into it? I'm also surprised she fired Anthony because on stage she was laughing and joking with him.

Re: MW ratings (70,762) (70,766) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Haha I'll see who else Stella can fire, because apart from Anthony, everyone else (except Kris) is from Stella's family. She won't fire family, so it'll put her in a tight spot. She might make Bryan the next scapegoat, because we know that relationship is staged as fudge and hence he's an outsider.

I wish I could give your post 20 more likes. The hoops some fans are jumping through to make it seem like Mariah is winning in this debacle is ridiculous and crazy. And the social media argument always kills me.

Re: Debacle humor (70,758) (70,764) by Licia from USA
I agree with alot of what Wendy said. I just didn't get what Nick getting someone else pregnant has to do with any of this. This is not a team Nick post so don't anybody get their panties in a bunch. Both he and Mariah moved a while ago. Mariah was almost married again and allegedly has a new man. She doesn't seem to be worried about or care about anything Nick is doing. Anyway she's performed a few times since she found out about the new baby. Why would that information all of a sudden affect this particular performance? Wendy was just being petty by bringing that up.

Re: Debacle humor (70,758) (70,763) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
At first I saw a small clip of Wendy going in on Mariah on instagram and I was like oh boy, there goes WW. But after you mentioned her here, I went back and saw the whole part and yes, while she goes in hard on her at the start, she does later make valid points. She even praises her as a singer and said yet again (she says that all the time) that even on her worst day she can out sing anyone. Then she even defends her lip syncing saying it doesn't matter, everyone knows she can sing, so as long as she is up there putting on a show it doesn't bother her. I'm living for Wendy throwing shade at Stella every chance she gets and it's the truth. I also agree that apart from Kris Buckle, no one in her current entourage really gives two hoots about Mariah personally. And yes I think Big Jim Wright, Trey Lorenz and her back up singers are great friends to her, but I'm not including them in her "entourage" because they don't follow her everywhere. I mean holidays and shopping sprees and dates and what not. They go with her when she's performing and then go back to their own lives, which I respect and appreciate. The others are surely out to take advantage.

MW ratings (70,762) by THE TRUTH from USA
Well MW fell off a ratings cliff. Maybe now Mariah will realize what a lousy hire Stella was or perhaps it'll be Trump's fault, Putin, Dick Clark or Anthony to blame.

Wendy Williams (70,760) by THE TRUTH from USA
I thought Wendy Williams was pretty even handed and fair about the whole New Years Eve debacle. She did much less damage than Stella.

Clearly you haven't done your research. Watch Vaxxed, there is an indisputable, empirically verifiable connection between vaccines and autisim. Maybe give this a read when you aren't so busy spouting off nonsense.

Debacle humor (70,758) by RibbonB from USA
Well may as well laugh about it. The Spurs made a funny with Emotions. At least this will increase the Emotions streams too. It sounds awesome at games, maybe they will make it a game time staple from now on. More streams. After that video is Wendy Williams run down on the NYE thing too. She is pretty much spot on in her assessment of things this time, IMO. I especially like whens he said Mariah should fire this whole group, sit in a room wring her hands and think this through alone, I'm paraphrasing here.

Video showing what Mariah's was hearing (70,757) by John from Italy
Finally, this is (more or less) what Mariah was hearing. Judge for yourself. To me, it seems very difficult to sing all the parts that have those overwhelming drums, but quite easy to sing the bridge at least. I would point some things: at 4:16 do you think it was planned that Mariah was coming down the stairs by her own feet? I thought that the dancer, confused by her hesitation, picks her to avoid any danger of falling (by the way, I do not understand that massive shoes she insists to wear, even if they reduce her ability to move); at 4:30 (tell me if I’m wrong) she seems determined to walk off the stage prematurely and the dancers, after some second of uncertainty, start to join the feather fans as to hide her in a botched pseudo-conclusion; then, she reconsiders to return and they re-open the feathers and continue their routine. Congratulations to the dancers that kept smiling and supporting her during all this mess. She seemed like a goddess (and, if all would worked, the coreography really would put her in that light, rediming her recent, very "wordly" image – if you know what I mean). We got instead a sad goddess landed on earth deprived of all her powers; looking at the sky in search of an answers that did not come. During those minutes, she alredy known the price she would pay for this, but continued to smile. That smile, that melancholic smile was too much to be expressed in words. I felt very sad at 4:08, when she abruptly stops miming and starts staring into space as to alienate herself from that place and time, to the point that the dancer has to struggle to get her attention. I could only imagine her sadness and her state of stress in that moment – thrown in the arena, all by herself, required to do something that in that moment she was not capable to do, because of an insurmontable objective problem, or even because of childish obstination, or anger, or panic. Some other performers would have done better than her? Maybe. But at least she stayed until the end, and that is enough for me. I'm glad she did, because doing so, she (although unintentionally) allowed us to see again a glimpse of her real soul. The accident reveals, from anywhere you look, the inner frailty of the individual. We all can recognize ourselves in her. Ironically, in its infinity levels of interpretation, that non-performance is a piece of art. The art of being human, I would say.

Re: A smear campaign botched (70,747) (70,755) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
Yes you are right, DCP wouldn't do that. People who tune in to DCP, will tune in regardless. Plus DCP isn't a new thing, they have been around for decades. The fault comes from the technicians and Mariah's team not handling the situation well. Mariah on the other hand did a good interview where she didn't really throw blame at anyone. So I'm glad she didn't go round Stella's ratchet round, but by that time Stella has already done the damage on provoking a major production house.

Adele had technical difficulties last year at the Grammys, but she sang through it. The people who stand to gain the most from this "any publicity is good publicity" thought process is Mariah and Stella.

Re: Jennifer Lopez keeps being shady (70,746) (70,753) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter
If that JLo tweet is indeed real and not a fake one, then I'm glad she did it. It will somewhat expose her snake side, like what happened with Taylor. Like Taylor, JLo has this impeccable team around her where even though she does a lot of stuff, she always end up with a good image, so I hope this "liking of the comment" gets viral so people can shift the heat on JLo haha.
