I rented the loft for the Tampa show (70,178)
by Jeremy Gloff from United States
| |
|
|
Hey Mariah fans. If anyone hasn't gotten tickets yet for the show in Tampa with Lionel on May 26th. I have rented the Verizon Wireless loft for me and my friends. It turns out it's on Memorial weekend and a lot of people will be out of town. I still have 13 tickets left at $160. The ticket includes a seat, food, beer, wine, and soda. If anyone is interested add me on Facebook "Jeremy Gloff". I can't wait to see Mariah.

Mariah's World is considered a hit by E's standards. Most of their series, with the exception of KUWTK, post similar numbers and Mariah's series doesn't have a lead in and is up against The Walking Dead the biggest show on tv at the moment.

Lionel Richie cheated on Brenda and despite adopting Nicole was an absentee father to her during the 80's. Nicole (and Lionel) has talked about how he was always gone when she was growing up because he was constantly touring. Mariah doesn't leave her children at home in New York when she's touring, she takes them with her. Neither is he a saint and they obviously respect each other. Especially considering the diva Mariah is allowing herself to be billed as his special guest star when she's clearly headlining this tour with him. I think the Stella era will come to a close when a Mariah sees how seamless Lionel's team is able to put it together. Stella just isn't qualified to be managing Mariah and each episode of Mariah's World highlights this.

Also, if we take a closer at the comments we'll see that most of the hate comes from middle-aged, middle-class female fans of Mr Ritchie, if that is any indication of anything.

A bigger hit than Jane The Virgin and Crazy Ex Girlfriend plus people don't watch tv traditionally anymore.

I know that, but it's not one of those good traditions. I miss the 1990 version of her. It's about time I put the "First vision" DVD on, so I don't forget why I started being a fan that year.

Lionel is a class act who will absolutely show up on time, climb up on stage on his own steam, give his all to his fans, and definitely not lip synch. His fans pay their hard earned money to go hear great music music from someone they've followed for years. If MCs show and media coverage ate indicative of what they can expect, it's understandable why they might be upset. Still no reason to be all hateful and mean.

Same. It's annoying and pointless. I'm tired of shade and all the rest. I can't get over how many people think this mess is cute and/or funny when grown ass people acting like children is really just stupid. I wish we could get some interviews with some true substance.

"According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, Mariah's World drew a 0.33 adults 18-49 rating and 0.73 million total viewers. The numbers trail the 0.41 rating and 0.81 million viewer mark posted by last week's episode." That's from Headline Planet. I've posted the ratings for the other episodes on past posts of mine.

I've been there, on Lionel's profile and I'm devastated. So many people throwing so much hate towards Mariah's participation in this tour are in reality throwing this towards Lionel. It is sad to read messages such as "I love Lionel, but I can't take Mariah so I won't go". It smells like hating your best friend's another friend. A completely converse attitude to what we can learn from Lionel's lyrics.

Yep. As soon as Tommy was out of the picture she decided to go 180 degrees in the opposite direction, like a child having a tantrum and trying to prove a point at all cost. Stella is only the latest in a series of missteps which are chipping away at her legacy.

No, not quite a flop by industry standards yet. A giant turd sure but will likely take another few weeks to arrive in the red. You can watch it's demise and track it's descent on showbuzzdaily.com and please can we stop blaming it's failure and every other thing on Stella. If the show were doing great everyone would be praising MC for her genius. In the real world you only get to take credit for your victories when you own your failures as well. All the scapegoating is lame. I've rarely seen Lambs praising and attributing MCs hits to her management even though often and particularly in the Mottola era they were in large part due to his brilliant management and guidance. That said, certainly when MC finally fires Stella we'll discover she'd been spiking the splashes hence all of MC's poor choices.

Really well written. I think it's quite simple, though. Stella is trying to pitch Mariah to a young audience, but it's an incredibly ill-conceived model as young people (save, perhaps, for a few) aren't ever going to get into Mariah and all the slightly-less-young and older people, who've been following Mariah for the best part of her career, feel sidelined and bemused as to how such a dramatic paradigm shift occurred. It's almost like Mariah is stabbing her core fans in the back with Stella's hand guiding the knife. However, Mariah's problems started a few years before Stella came along and instead of making the right decisions, Mariah has, mostly, made all of the wrong ones.

That's her Aspen tradition. There will be one more of her in a bikini in a hot tub in the middle of the snow. Side note: funny thing is now Mishka writes "Aspen Tradition" in her insta post, like girl you've just been going to Aspen since last year, calm it down.

Mariah you will regret ever hiring this [censored] Eastern European [censored] Stella. She has slowly and steadily ruined your brand and legend icon status. It's going to end bad. [...] I'll stick to the classic Mariah from the 90's. When Tommy handled your career. It was better.

WWHL is not that kinda show where everything is so formal. It's a tongue in cheek show not an Oprah moment. I'm glad she drops by from time to time and is so much more outspoken lately (Demi diss). In the past DaBrat was her mouth piece. Now that's definitely Stella's influence lol.

I'm not quite sure I've ever heard anyone call a straight man a "queen." So, I don't see you calling a heterosexual a name that can be used in a deragatory fashion, towards gay men. If you wanted to personally attack him, at least admit it. Also, it is Mariah or her team's job to create a don't ask list, and present it to him. Obviously, they didn't construct one; so the man, I mean the "queen" was just doing what he does, on that show.

I'm Andrew. I'm the one you called a troll. So you do know me haha. In fact, I've got the same name as the presenter you called a "queen". Been posting here long enough, can't miss me. [censored] It seems so. Were you to call a straight person a "queen" you would sound equally as [censored] as you do now, if not more so. It references homosexuality in an intentionally derogatory way. I know gay people who despise it. In the context of humour, it might be okay. But actually, it just sounds like you're a [censored] haha. Merry Christmas.
