I just think MC needs a different manager because she has kind of let her business ventures and promotion take a back seat in the past 7 years. "Rain" and "Deeper and Deeper" are great songs. Madonna's writing and singing got much better with "Bedtime Story" and "Ray of Light". I honestly don't like much of anything she released pre-1990 or after 2000's "Music". Though I did like the "Confessions on a Dance Floor" album. I was mesmerized by her style, songs, quick rise to fame, and videos. I wanted Madonna and Sean Pean to last as a married couple, but the paparazzi ruined their marriage being a young couple. They were the first paparazzi couple who were followed by the paparazzi. Papa Don't Preach is my all time favorite Madonna video. Madonna changed after their marriage did not work. Her music and style changed too. She started pushing more boundaries within society's norms. I stopped buying her albums after Like a Prayer. And then True Blue, La Isla Bonita and Like A Prayer all her 80s hits. Then came the 90s. Enter Mariah, and by 1993 I had a new queen. I still loved some of Madonna's 90's music but she could never be my favourite again. On another note, I miss the make up room acappella Vegas series Mariah started doing in 2019/2020 (I think) of deep cuts like Melt Away and Everything Fades Away. Mariah's been mum of late ... oh no please no (106,879) by Shezz from Pk I think she's quiet because she's finishing MC16. She already celebrated the 25th anniversary of Christmas so I don't think 30 will have a big celebration lined up but I'm sure she will do something. Whether we like it or not, that is where she earns her money now. And the fact that it still goes to number 1 every year shows a large majority of the general public has come to embrace it as an annual tradition. You bring out the tree, put up the lights and you play AIWFCIY. She will do her Christmas concerts for sure. I do believe she is going to focus on non Christmas projects in the near future as well though. (Monday 15 July 2024; 12:57)

Those two videos received mediorce video treatments. By the way, Tayla Parxx, Infinity co-writer, made me watch the video today because she is hotter than a firecracker at Normani for not giving her proper album credit for the song Insomina which she co-wrote with Normani, Victoria Monet, Brandy, and Stargate. However, Normani delivers Tayla another low blow by giving her songwriting credit in a interview this week and said that she hadn't seen Tayla in awhile. (Monday 15 July 2024; 23:44)

MC clocked in (106,891) by Brandon from USA This is the type of performance I like to see from MC. Her energy, excitement, engagement with the crowd was magnetic this night (and the entire SSFT imo). She was definitely clocked in and happy to be on stage enjoying what she was doing. She was ad libbing like crazy and the crowd ate it up. She actually took time to hype the crowd up and worked the stage. She didn't walk like her feet hurt because her heels were too high or stand in one spot like a statue. She didn't look lost on stage. She was fully alert and performed. I need this type of energy and confidence from MC in 2024. Is that too much to ask?
